I have just came from a lunch... as we always do we go to 7 eleven and buy some snacks for the afternoon - ( a long on indeed!) well i would say i am happy and surprised! I know Filipinos know this! 7Eleven has participated in the May 2010 elections with a tally of their own - which is based on the cups' choice of the juice drinkers on who they are going to vote this coming elections. Well i always try to look into it and well.. look who's leading and who's running 2nd???
Leading is Noynoy, and running closely is Gordon!! I mean, with the elections coming near and soon... The Filipinos are finnaly coming to their senses! I used to see Villar on the 2nd place for quite some time now.. and I am really happy that finally people are choosing a better candidate - and this is finally showing Filipinos are getting smart, thinking smart.. and elections is now not only based on some commercials, on popularity game...
This may not be a very reliable way to know people's choice.. but i think it just clearly shows that the wise shall really vote accordingly...
How do you feel about this? I am sorry to those who are Villar fans, but i'd say the Country is really better off with someone who can really LEAD the people! and not with someone who only promises to end poverty with no plans of how poverty can be ended?

I think Fruitas also is doing similar thing they put in the cartoon faces of the candidates and the customer can choose shich cups they would like to use. But, unlike 7-11 they are really counting the cups sold for each candidates. I think that is really cool thing to know that the results are not similar to what surveys says. Although Noynoy is #1 but with Gordon being in #2 is something that is really a sign that public is not really keen on following what surveys are telling the public.

thank you rsa! =) i actually think so too! everyone's been misinformed in televisions, and in radios by the official surveys of some independent bodies, right? i think it is about time that we have our own choice.. and it is really a surprise to me to see that in this survey, Villar is running 4th place this time... and ERap is at 3rd?!
Well.. yes, it is about the cartoon faces of the candidates.. and i think you ought to just pick the "not decided" one for now if you don't have a choice yet. hehe
thank you for youre response.

I think that is in your area only but I think in other areas there seems to be different results as well. I just watched the news today and I see that there is a slight difference with the tallies right now and has different rankings of the presidentiables.
