What do you think of Katherine Heigl leaving the Grey's Anatomy TV Series?

I read in some entertainment news sites that the production staff is quite relieved that Katherine chose to quit. But yeah, you are right, the story should go on even without her character. And besides, the actress is in to making movies and I loved her in 27 Dresses and the Ugly Truth. Can't wait for the Killers.

I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy but not of Katherine Heigl character so I won't miss her at all. When they got rid of George I was very upset because he was one of the better characters on the show I thought. I will definitely continue to watch because Katherine character was a bit selfish and aloof and I can't connect to someone like her.

I've kind of been preparing for her to leave soon for the last few months. When her movie career started to take off I figured she'd leave. Most actors quit tv when they start getting movie roles. Then when T.R.Knight (George) left, there were rumors she was getting fired for comments she made. I'll keep watching. I've been watching since the beginning of the show. I love the twists also and some of the crazy stuff that happens. I'm a little disappointed on the Izzy/Alex relationship going that way, but oh well. There are still a lot of good characters on the show, so I'll keep watching.

You must be way behind. She has been gone for months. She really only made, in effect, a couple of guest appearances early this season and then was gone. Her character went to another hospital in another city.
