debut GRAND celebration? trip to somewhere you want (ASIA)? or car?

my mom's asking me to prepare for my debut celebration
and i was shocked when she said it since i didn't expect
that she's willing to spend some money for my 18th birthday.
but im really craving for a car. though it's twice expensive
as the debut celebration (and im not pretty sure my mom would
buy me one due to its price and safety issues).
and later my favorite cousin said, i could ask my mother
to buy me a roundtrip ticket to japan and be there for 2 months with her
(since my mom's an english teacher there). It;s really nice since
i never had the chance to travel outside our country and japan's the
country im craving ever since. but my friends are expecting
about my debut celebration. SO, if you were me, what would you choose? and why?

hi rumshie oh if I were you I would definitely take up your cousin's
offer as you have craved going to Japan and its oneof those things'you
might not ever get the chance to do again.You can always save up money
for a car.So go see Japan as it might be the chance of a lifetime. the
car can come later.But really the final decision is up to you, this is
just my own opinion.

I wonder if you have taken driving lessons yet? If so it would be lovely to have a car. I know that the best choice for me if I was in your situation is go to Japan. My brother-in-law went there. He thought it was a lovely destination and he has told me I would love it if I went there. I know that it is an expensive country to travel in. Therefore I would buy a plane ticket there and then have a number of days in Kyoto. I would then travel around on one weeks rail pass. I adore traveling around by train and it would be an economic way to travel around Japan. I think your favorite cousin is right: a round trip journey to Japan would be perfect. Good luck.

I've been through that and parties are just something people will forget after a while. Next, the car can be bought when you're a lot older and a lot more responsible. But the time spent with you mother is priceless. Therefore, I'd settle for the trip to Japan with her.
The first time our family went for a vacation outside the country is pretty amazing. These memories will always be in our hearts even if we only have pictures and a few key chains to remind us by.
Have that time spent with her.

Congratulations on your coming debut celebration.
If I were you, I would travel with my family. First of all, I think quality time is important, particularly on special days, such as birthday. Besides, it's exciting and interesting to travel abroad or somewhere you've never been to. Whenever buying a car will be ok.

Well a car would be nice but think of this a car your whole life or a certain amount of time with your mother. I would choose spending time with your mother on that two month trip to Japan. I mean wouldn't it be great to spend some quality time with your mother and create some memories you can think of in the future. It's a good feeling that is almost impossible to take away from you. for me you should choose to go to Japan. why? because in your special day you choose to be with her. and i think it will the happiest moment for your mom and for you. also Japan is a beautiful place. ive been there twice for buseness trip from our company. much more today seasons is very good season beacasue its spring season. really beautiful season.you can see so many diffirent flower and the cherry blossoms. also if you choose to have a debut celebration with your friends. your friends are always there but the chance to go to Japan are once in a lifetime. because you know that Japan is very srict country for applying visa. only few paople has given a chance like that
