I've been suffering from panic attacks for almost 9 years now. It's really difficult going around, being normal. For 2 yrs. I haven't gone out of my house. Even walking outside makes me lightheaded. I have a phobia in crowded places especially in churches. So what are your techniques in preventing the occurrence of panic attacks?

Hi, There is only one permanent solution for panic. As I had several I know exactly how bad it can go. The solution that I will be talking about here is difficult one but it completely heals you from the agony of it, and of course its gonna be a lifetime achievement for you that you can share with anyone who has similar problems. The solution is simply to face the thing you fear the most. You obviously need help, preferably from a good therapist. Ask him to apply hypnosis and tell him that you want to get rid of your fear by facing it for one last time. This can be done, as I did, without the help of a therapist but that would take time and is surely quite difficult. So take the help immediately. With hypnosis you will be taken face to face with your fear and you will feel a terrible discomfort. But then you will slowly go through it and will be able to see the ultimate consequence. As soon as you come up with a realization, you will be free from this fear, yes, totally free from it. Why are we afraid? Why exactly do we avoid a certain thing? It is because we don't wanna face the consequences. We are filled with anticipations. Once you know the worst case of this consequences you suddenly feel that all those fears were actually for nothing. Thanks God bless you

Panic attacks and panic disorder are treatable conditions. They can usually be treated successfully with self-help strategies or a series of therapy sessions. Therapies may include Cognitive Behavioral and Exposure Therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is generally viewed as the most effective form of treatment for panic attacks, panic disorder, and agoraphobia. It focuses on the thinking patterns and behaviors that are sustaining or triggering the panic attacks. It helps you look at your fears in a more realistic light. Should you wish to know more about the other strategies, don't hesitate to ask further. =)

I know how terrible it can be. Regular consultation with the doctor and proper medications can help cure this problem. You can also practice yoga as it has helped many people to reduce panic attacks.

I've had the disorder for years now.I started my problem back in "1993".I usually, have problems calming down.I still do get freaked out when I feel one coming on.It makes it alot worse when you feed into the panick.I breathe into a peper bag or get air outside my window.I usually calm down after awhile. You can't cure yourself from having them but you can learn to handle it better.I still have the problem after all that time.
