Hi dawn, That must be a lovely sight to see nature all around you, when I went out to my front garden, there were two robins waiting for me to feed them, I was having a lovely peaceful time till hubby came home early from work, he works at the airport and they sent him home early as there was nothing for them to do, so I had to put up with him being undermy feet, now he has goen upstaires to watch the tv, GOOD!!! Today is my 40th anniversary hubby and I are going out to eat in a Mexican resturant and have some margaritas and relax. Later this summer the kids are throwing us a bit 40th party when people are able to come more. It is a beautiful sunny day here so going to have a great anniversary.

I really envy you! My day had been drab and more drab. It was a lazy day, people do not kind of feel like coming out in heat except when in emergencies. we did have few emergency admission though and that kept me occupied for a while.

I found a lot of cans at Maggie's apartment complex - I need to bag them up and get them ready to go to the roomie's dad.

... geese with 6 babies... a tom turkey... and loons... Was there a song in there somewhere? Or at least a nursery rhyme?

what a lovely lovely sight dawna, I wish I live in a house with a lake outside my backyard or at least near a lake or a stream. I really do love nature and I miss my hometown, missed my mother so much!

Awww - how neat to see so many birdies and their babies! How cool that you're just a walk away from the lake . . . I'm only a walk away from the pool - ha ha. Today I had to go to the doctor's today for my daughter's physical . . . last time (just 2 weeks ago) we had a horrific session with many shots (for school) . . . so even though today's was just a physical, you can imagine how horrific it was again anyway (sigh). Anyway, for the sake of a "nature" discussion, on the drive to the doctor's my daughter noticed the "cherry possoms" that were in bloom - that's right - cherry possoms - ha ha!!

At least I got out of my pajamas today. I helped my neighbor with her business reports/taxes, then went out and watered the garden (even though it's been threatening to rain all day). Then I took my boy Sheltie to the vet. He hasn't been feeling good...I can tell it in his eyes. $150 later...I should find out the results of the bloodwork on Wednesday. Then I stopped by my Mom's and had a piece of pecan pie and made arrangements to go to the casino on Wednesday. Then I went grocery shopping...eck, while my dog stayed at Grandma's. Now, I'm home MyLotting...but I think it's almost time for a nap...then Dancing with the Stars... I'm glad you saw some pretty cool stuff during your break from work...
