i bought a sim style land line for i was curious and really wanted to try this new technology. i bought another cellphone so i can use it but it turned out that i am not impress at all. it was prepaid and the load is 300php and you can use it for a month. i was not satisfied of the outcome for when i need to talk to someone it was always chappy. if you will look at the cell it has good signal but i can not hear properly the person i was talking with. have you any experience with this sim style landline?

That is really sad. I guess you should complain it to the company that sold you that unit. It may be that unit they have given you is the culprit in it and they should replace it so you can avail of the service from them. Or it may be that the signal in your area is just not strong so you should have first inquired if the signal can reach your place before buying it.

i did not avail for a unit. i only availed for the sim. though the unit that i a using is an ericson unit, my concern is the signal is not that good as i was expecting. i am only in marikina but sometimes the line is chappy and i couldnt hear properly the person i was talking with. i guess i need to consider using a landline than sim landphone. thanks a lot for the response

Oh well I guess you should have inquired about the coverage areas before buying the sim. If you area is covered then you have the right to complain about their service. But if your area is not covered then I guess you can sell it to others where the signal might be strong and can make good use of that sim.

I agree. Better sell your sim to anyone who lives in an area where there is better coverage. Or you can complain to your sim provider that you have problem regarding coverage at your area, and then wait till they fix it. (Meaning, till they add another tower close to your area. We'll never know, they're probably working on it already. ^_^)

I don't use this kind of phone but i guess the handset brand has something to do with it. I've said that because i have two cellphones, a nokia and a cherymobile brand. What i noticed is i can hear more clearly with the nokia than the chery brand even if the signal strength is the same.
