Based on what i did yesterday, i spend almost 6 hour for me as a noob to get 35 posts. Very exhausting. But i check this morning i only get some dollar not equal to the number i posts. In what condition our post is not counted by mylot?? i'm still confused with it.

A lot of us here are confused about that rating bases of mylot. I sometimes post more than 50 posts in a day but I only earn .50 cents. Sometimes I add images or pictures so that I could earn more. But I guess my extra effort would not given an extra cents. So what I did I just keep on posting and posting and posting. I stayed here for more than 10 hours and I only post more than 50 and sometimes I would reach 100 posts in a day but I could not earn 1 dollar.

10 hours a day, wow, what a struggle. i know that every post will be given 1cent. so with your 50 post it is proper to get 50cents. But what make me confuse is commenting other people comment, will it be counted as a regular post?? and i still don't get it.

@firdauzi, There is no fix amount for every post. We might earn more or we might earn nothing from our posts. It is depend on our posts quality and length. One line posts most probably would not earn us anything. We earn from every posts we made (new discussion, response and/or comment). In a simple words, we earn for what we type here. And commenting on others comment is very appreciated here because it would give the thread more likely a discussion then question and answer session. The longer the thread the better.

Yes its also counted, all your reply to the comment of your post and comment to the post its all counted and you still can earn that way. If you could take a look on my profile I only created two discussions. So all this more than 600 posts its all coming from the respond to the comments of others and making comments and creating other comments. Its all counted. Its not yet confirmed that 1 post is equivalent to 1 cents. Because according to them the longer your comments are and the more words you used its more than 1 cents. So if you only make comments for a few words I guess it will counted as .001 cents. Like what I've said its more than 50. I could not remember if I post 70 or 80 posts that is why I just mentioned more than 50 posts.

Hi firdauzi, It is difficult for us to correctly count our posts here because of the different time zone. Our earnings count from 12.00am to 11.59pm everyday according to US central time. And we only get the updated earnings here between 7.00am and 10.00am on the next day. You can see myLot time at the bottom of the page to started counting on your posts. As for me (Malaysia), the day change at myLot at 1.00pm because I have +13 hours different with myLot time. Every posts is not added to our total posts (behind our userneme). We can only add two posts from a single discussion at maximum. Our posts total would be added one post when: 1. When we started a new discussion 2. When we post our first response on someone else discussion 3. When we post our first comment on the discussion started by us or by other members. So, even though we posted more then two posts in a single discussion, we would see the number of total posts only increase by two. But, we would earn from every single post that we made as long as it has a quality and length. It is just not counted to our total posts (behind our username). It is a small move in earnings for those who has less then 100 posts because they still does not have the star rating. But we all face the same problem before because we need to start from zero. Our star rating is counted in our earnings algorithm.

Thanks for the BR. I really appreciate it. (I did not earn anything from this type of posts because it is too short and we actually did not allowed to do so - guidelines).

wow. you are an expert in here. So that's why your post is always has a length. From you explanation i know the reason why yesterday i just get 0.26 from the total 0.34. The day before yesterday i get 0.08. Yesterday i count my posts, it reaches 35 posts including starting one discussion. I see that give to much comment in one discussion is useless in getting the money. But if we intend to be socialized with others, is it okay, right? It depends in our purpose to get the money or to socialize here. But i choose both, to get earning and be socialized with people here. Thanks for your last explanation.

hi firdauzi, based on your name i think we are from the same country. as i know, the amount of post you have is not the only factor of your earning. based on the suggestion from old members of mylot, just make a high quality of post or respond so you will get enough qualification to get 1cent. just keep on writing here. i usually spend an hour in mylot :)

okay. the word that i think so cool, because its pronounciation, as a matter of fact is a humble word. sorry, because i'm still learning english and US culture. Sometimes i feel nothing after i post some, i called it X words, after then it becomes issues in the forum. hehe. By the way thanks for your concern.

I usually post less than 20 posts a day. Most probably it will be around 15 and i think i take about 2 hours to post this much responses. But i think i have to speed up a little inorder to get more earnings. But it's not easy to find and post responses on the topics that are relevant. If you are just writting the crap and spamming then you can easily do it.

i may do it as you did. But my target is to cashout in every month. so i gotta post at a least 35 posts a day. I don't like spamming. I even think first before i comment to someone's discussion. I treat mylot as a legit sites as same as facebook. That's why i must know it well to earn well.

I think the more you get involved in discussions the more money you can make. I like to start new discussions and respond to them as well. I just started with mylot so there is still a lot more to learn.

Personally for me, there are a lot of different factors that come into play in the amount of time I am actively posting in here in a day. Since I work Full time, regularly attend church, etc, some days, it does not leave much time for anything else as well. Lately the time I spend in here goes in spurts but there have been times in the past where I have spent a lot of my days off here as well. But no matter what this will always continue to be a Great place to be.

no, the earnings here in Mylot is not based on the number of posting but the quality of it. I advice you to read our faq to learn more of the site. About your question, about condition our post is not counted, you can ask that one on our admin, askalice (did i write it right?). I hope she responded on your discussion here. I know in time you will understand it. It is good that you ask anyway.
