Would you guys want a myLot mobile app? :D I figured that since a lot of social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook have mobile sites and even mobile apps that you can download, why not myLot, too? I really want one, so I can easily check out the discussions and respond to them, even when I'm away from the computer. I know we can always just go to mylot.com on our mobile browsers, but it's really hard and inefficient, especially because some browsers tend to distort the layout of sites. So would you like a myLot mobile app or a myLot mobile-optimized website? Share your thoughts and opinions. Explain why you'd want one! :)

my phone screen is too small, so I myself confused to log in even typing on mobile phones. So I surrendered, and will use the computer as a sender media. Pressed the button also often wrong and sometimes keystrokes are seen there only a few letters do not like what is shown actual size.

Exactly why there should be a myLot mobile-optimized site, so we can use myLot flawlessly on our mobile phones. Don't you think? ;D

Yes, I think a mobile phone app for MyLot would be brilliant, it would be handy for when I'm away from home and I'm bored!

Yes, and when we're too lazy to open the computer, and would just like to lay down while reading and responding to discussions. With a mobile version, we can flawlessly use myLot. :D

Yes i think a mylot appl should be ok also because if you use other devices than pc to answer or open the discussions her eon mylot surely it would be too low as regards connection than on pc too...considering also that mylot site normally is low when you aheva good activity!!

Yes, it would be hard to view myLot on other devices, so a mobile version would be a nice thing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I agree with you!

I guess that's a good idea. Though i'm used to access mylot from my mobile phone, i'm still don't feel it's an efficient. I'm using operamini browser to access it without showing the images so it can load faster and save a bandwitch cost. But a mylot app in our mobile gives us an easy tool to post here. Perhaps they would have made an app if the membership has reached a good amount. I mean nowadays the mylot's member still 200.000 and grow everyday so problably if it has reached 500.000 or even more than 1 million like the social site's , a mylot app has made. Nice topic and happy mylotting

I haven't tried accessing myLot on my mobile browser, which is opera mobile. I haven't tried because I have a feeling it will be such a hard time to navigate around the site, based on my experience with other websites that aren't optimized for mobile viewing. I really do hope a myLot app becomes available someday soon, maybe we'll get even more members to be active once again! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

Yes, I really hope they consider programming a myLot mobile app, or even just a myLot mobile site would be fine. Just as long as we can access myLot wherever we go on our mobile phones.

hi jeeyah I am s orry but I do not even know what a mobile apps is and frankly i would like to see mylot continue just as it is,a lot of people cannot afford all those fancy doodads or gadgets so why mess up mylot. I think it should not have all the stuff that facebook and twitter and all the rest of the crap because mylot is unique and a lot of us like it just as mylot admins made it. I do not want that or any money only crap either. lets keep mylot the way it is, an easy and fun place to work and visit.

Hi Hatley! A mobile app is something that you can install on your phone so you can access something even if you're away from the computer. By having a myLot app, we're not really going to change myLot. myLot will still and always be myLot, this myLot. Having a myLot mobile app or site will not change myLot as we know it, but it will just add something to make it easy for the other members who can't go on the computer that much. By having a mobile app or mobile website, maybe other members who don't have the time to go on the computer to reply to discussions may eventually become more active again, because they will be able to use myLot on their mobile phones. So we're not changing myLot, just making it better and easier for everyone else. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, though! :)

Oh, and having a myLot mobile app or a myLot mobile version will not really affect this site that we're on right now. It'll just be an additional feature, and it's different from this myLot web version.

i have talked about this a long time ago. there was still no mobile application for mylot. if you wish to log-on and participate on mylot using your mobile phone, you only need to install a web browser in it. i used to log-on to mylot for months using my phone before i got this broadband and my laptop. that's the time i stop using my phone and depend only to my laptop when i am home. in the office, i can use the same USB modem with my office desktop.

Well, different phones have different speeds and limitations, so I guess for some people, accessing the web version of myLot would be hard on their phones. Like what I said on my post, sometimes, mobile browsers tend to distort the appearance of a website. That's why some make mobile-optimized websites or apps to make it easier to access on a mobile phone. Anyway, I guess you're lucky because your phone doesn't hang or doesn't make it hard for you to access myLot, unlike some of us here. Thank you for sharing your experience! :)

Well my cell phone dosent have internet but if it did I would use both app and the general website because its convent in fact I think you can still post on mylot if you have internet on your cellphone.

Yes, you can post on myLot if your phone has internet and a browser, but it would be hard if the website really isn't optimized for mobile viewing. :)

Yes, I would love that!!! I thought of this a couple weeks ago when I was going through my emails on my phone and thought how great would it be that I could work online at Mylot even when I am away from home...sometimes like when I am picking up my son from school and I am just waiting for the bell to ring, I could go on my phone and post a couple responses or something and feel like I am not missing out so much on my computer time when I could be earning. Maybe in the near future we will be able to have one and then we could really enjoy it!! Happy Mylotting.

I'm glad you like the idea, too! :) It's really a nice way to make use of some spare time when you're waiting for someone or something. And going on http://www.mylot.com on your mobile phone just won't solve the problem since some mobile browsers will take a long time to load the layout, and will sometimes even distort its appearance. So a mobile version would be really great and perfect. :D Thanks for the response!

I think it would be great to have that as that way when i am having to go away from home i can still use mylot aswell as talk to my friends that i have made on there.I think that there would also be alot more members on there aswell all of the time as it would be easier for alot of us to do our discussions as well as all of the replys.

Yes, that's true! And I think that there wouldn't be any "dull moments" in myLot because even if some may be working or doing some stuff away from the computer during the day, they may still access myLot easily through their mobile phones. There would be faster responses on discussions. :D

That's a nice idea. Having that kind of app would benefit even those who are not using a PC. you can log in anytime you want. Another benefit of it is we often come up with ideas when we are somewhere else and more often those ideas are already forgotten by the time you log in to your computer. If you can access mylot more easily in you mobile then you can just start a discussion as it crosses your mind. Brilliant!

Yes, you're right! However, when I come up with an idea, I just usually make a note on my phone, lol. But I guess it would be better if we can just immediately go on myLot on our mobile phone while our ideas are fresh and still sizzlin' hot. Haha :)

Definitely. Whenever I use MyLot on my phone I always think to myself why isn't there one? It would be so useful and more people would probably use MyLot.

Yeah, that would be awesome I don't use internet on my mobile though, so it wouldn't affect me as much, but it would help many others It is always a bit slower and harder to use websites on a mobile than what it is on a computer (laptop, desktop, Mac, PC)
