With dry plays and shocking losses from non-playoff teams, everyone thought that the Celtics will not be a title contender. They made it to the 4th spot playing against the Wade-led Miami Heat. The Celtics won game 1, 85-76. The sweet victory by the Celtics turned to sour as the NBA suspends Kevin Garnett in game 2 for elbowing Quentin Richardson in the face.It was a big lose for the Celtics paving the way to the Miami Heat on a higher chance of winning game 2. It was all caught to naught as the Celtics played inspired basketball in Game 2,demolishing the Heat with a 29-point win. Are the Celtics rejuvenated and might be a title contender once again?

The Celtics will have a hard time once they play Orlando then possibly with Cleveland. I don't know if Garnett Pierce and Allen have enough gas left in the tank. The bench factor would also come into play in the following rounds. If ever they make it to the finals, they would totally be tired either to play Kobe and the lakers or Dirk and the Mavs.
