ls Shyamalan making a mistake with the Last Airbender?

This is his first adaptation and l'm not sure it's gonna go that well. l prefer hen he thinks of his own stuff. he's my favorite director.
What do you think about it?

Let's just wait and watch The Last Airbender on July 2, 2010 before we judge him if he directed it well or not ... I like his past movies specially The Six Sense....
Yes, he writes the script and directs all of his movies and I like his style of his stories... Always has a big revelation at the end each of his every movies...

I just hope he doesn't. The last airbender is one of my favourite shows. Making it into a movie and watch all that bending would be pretty cool
