Would you trade Ben Roethlisberger?

There is talk of the Steelers shopping around the league for a team willing to give up a top ten draft pick for Big Ben. If you were a GM of any NFL team, would you want Roethlisberger, knowing what kind of backlash you'd get? If the starting QB of your favorite team was in Ben's position, would you get rid of him and get one of the untested backs in this year draft to compensate?

My team, the Packers, would have Big Ben out of town in a second if he was our QB! Green Bay doesn't put up with crap like that! I'm sure there are teams who are willing to take a chance on the scum bag if a deal can be worked out! I don't know who is crazy enough to do it but we will see! Maybe this has opened the dirt bag's eyes finally! Big Ben needs an attitude adjustment and this might be what the doctor ordered!

I wouldn't be surprised if at least one team, wearing black and silver, were to go after Ben if the opportunity was there. I mean, he is perfect for what Al Davis wants from a quarterback. He can throw it down the field, and he's built to take hits. That's one organization that probably wouldn't mind the PR issue at all.

No, I wouldn't trade him, nor do I think he will in fact be traded between now and preseason. If two super bowl rings don't earn you another chance. I don't know what else will. Sizable contract + missing 1/2 the season + the "backlash" + asking price = to much for any team to handle. Ben's not going anywhere, and the shopping would have been a insta done deal cause it would have only happened if a team was already in the waiting. In the end, it's a combination of draft mind games and Pit doing something/anything to react to the announcement in general cause it is a high profile team and player.

Draft mind games are what I'd expect from almost all the teams in the league. But the Rooney family have had such high standards. I think two Super Bowl rings earn you extra strike or three, No one is exempt from being traded though
