Many men out there are scaried to purpose for only one reason fear of rejection. I have faced this fear as well. When i knew that i wanted to marry my current girlfriend i got her a ring and all that i was gonna purpose to her with it but was scaried of rejection so i just gave it to her as a gift. so next time i hope i don't get cold feet and stayed up to her and purpose to her with all my heart?
How many of you get cold feet when trying to purpose to a girlfriend of yours?

I think you mean PROPOSE. You know, you'll never know what can happen until you try. As with anything, I'd rather try and fail. At least I learned for myself that I'm not good enough. Rather than not try at all and keep on wondering for the rest of my life what might have been if I tried.

I've heard that it's pretty hard, but if you're really in love then you shouldn't worry too much about rejection. Just make sure that you're both ready and that it's what you really want and then she's sure to say yes. :)
My husband wasn't at all nervous when he proposed because he knew I would say yes. I couldn't say no, after all, since we had already started planning the wedding and we'd already bought our wedding rings! xD We got a little ahead of ourselves, but that was because we had decided last minute we wanted to get married the next year instead of waiting until the year after that. He wasn't worried because we were both on the same page with it and he knew what to expect. :)
Good luck with your proposal and I hope everything works out well for you!
