they sometimes starve their own one year old children for mere forgetting to say amen. duh? mere forgetting on my part to drink water every 2 hours spells dehydration. not giving food and water to a 16 month old kid for one week? then believing he would resurrect? wow, if cults want to be recognized or mere gain an ounce of decent respect from the world they should choose their members wisely. no, that's just a mockery. people should have a life. wake up, eat, work and do good deeds. that is finding one's own place under the sun. not entrusting a nut to find it for you by joining a cult.

Whoever practices religion that way is spiritually blind. If they are trying to live a Godly life, they should be reasonable, compassionate, modest, and appropriate. The true and living God is not nonsense to let His people do things like that. I can aptly say, those who do that to their babies, thinking they are being religious to the point that they sacrifice their child's welfare that way live in a delusion and ignorance about the true God. The Lord Jesus and the father in heaven would prefer mercy rather than sacrifice.
Proof:
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Since no one knows us better than our Creator does. He set teachings and commandments for us to live by and this covers all ages of mankind. And our Lord Jesus guarantees that God's commandments are not hard to follow.
Proof:
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Whatever our opinion may be on that, we should all bow down to it because the omniscient God had it stated by one of His apostles, in the person of John.
Doing good is indeed not hard to do [e.g. a mother caring for her children in accordance to 1 Timothy 5:8; an employee working honestly and responsibly for his employer and their customers out of fear of the Lord,as per 1peter 2:18 etc.]
Only the wicked will think otherwise. And some of them puts God in a bad light.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
