What one item can you never find when you look for it?

There is always this one item that you cannot find, no matter how often you think that you put it in the right place. It tends to lead to a lot of wasted time when looking for it. For me, that item is my calculator. I always put it in the same place. Yet it gets shifted around and buried underneath other things on my desk. So how about you? What is that one item that always leads to a hunt? Looking forward to reading your responses.

My keys, where are my keys? lol my son is 16 months old. And he has a fondness for keys. Sometimes he plays with them and walks off. It can be a challenge.

Keys seem to be all too common. It does not really matter if you have a child or not. They tend to get lost a lot. I swear, they were right here not that long ago. Yet, they are gone. I know I put them there. Oh well, that's just what happens. Keys are something that are one of the top things that get lost with a lot of people. Thanks for the response.

Yes, that can happen a lot. I mean, you want to put things back in the proper place. You really do. However, there are times where you just drop it and then forget where exactly you will drop it. I do that every now and again. You would think I would learn but I guess not.

Well! In my case it is my car key. I am in the habit of misplacing it and whenever I am to go out, search begins for the lost key. sometimes it gets thrown on the bed, sometimes in the kitchen or some other awkward place and it wastes so much time in searching for it. Though key holder is placed just next to the entrance door, but it is very rare that my car key finds its place there.

Yeah, car keys can be one that gets lost a lot even for me. I feel that I should be just hooking the blasted thing to my wrist and just carrying it around anywhere. Still I always put that thing down and it never seems to be in the same place. It can be quite the break neck search. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and added to the topic. Have a nice day!

Hi,megamatt Have u heard of a system created and ran by Japanese for company management called 7s??? It rolls well in manufacturer to protect all the workshops and workunits in workflow against running into such a situation u refer. One word, place everthing back where u take, even most trivial one.

See, I do that a lot of the time. If only time stopped until I needed the item again. The problem is that not only am I here, but other people are coming in and out. Not only that, but there are things that are dropped and shifted around. So yeah, while this will work well most of the time, there are times where it does not work as well that I would like it. Still thank you for your response, it was much appreciated. Have a nice day and thanks.

Right now I seem to have misplaced my hairbrush! It's not me that loses it you have to understand, it's my little girl. Once she gets hold of it she hides in. So I've looked in her bedroom, her toybox and amoungst her books and still no luck. It will turn up soon I'm sure (rolling eyes)

Yes, it has to be somewhere after all. The problem is when it will turn up. It is always in some of the oddest places, things like this. Especially considering that children tend to hide things in the most odd places possible. That can add to the craziness of life a lot. Thank you for the response, it is much appreciated. Have a nice day.
