Girls - Pink Colour..Boys- Which Colour..?

I'm currently pregnant with my first baby and it's a boy. I am trying to stay away from the blue and boys stereotype right now. He doesn't have many blue clothes and his nursery isn't done in blue. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with boys and blue, but I just want to stay away from it some. My son has a lot of bright oranges and greens and red and some purple and yellow. Honestly though, it's hard to find a lot of color for boys that doesn't have blue somewhere. I feel like I'll be the same way if I have a girl- try not to have everything pink!

Most boys like dark colors like black, blue, etc. Most boys think it is cool to use those colors.

In my house the guys pick Blue, Black and Red. But I think once a guy gets old enough to be recoginized as being a man he can wear any color he wishes. I know my dad always said a real man is not afraid to wear pink. But most people would not want to dress their young son in pink as he may be picked on or confused as being a girl.

Red also, it is the color of the devil. Planet Mars which symbolize men has red color. We just fail to wear it often because it is overwhelming color.

well, for me it violet. i know that it is not a common color for boys but I just like how it looks! I also like green!

Most of the boys love black. I'm not sure. But that is based on my observation. and the color that comes first in my mind whenever i hear the word "boy" is.. black. :)

I like blue color.. and mostly wears these colors dresses..

It's true that girl's like pink but not every girl because I'm also a girl and my favorite color is purple ..I like pink also because it gives me a soft and cute look...but I want to know that you are a boy and you don't know about boy's favorite color... which is your favorite color... specially I like when boy were black color because I think they look more handsome and charming in black color.

Traditionally you would say blue, however the boys in my daughters class chose green or red as their favorite colour. My oldest daughter used to love pink when she was younger, everything she owned was pink. Now she is nine she says she likes lots of colours.

for me, I like blues and blacks. Blue has been a favorite for most of my life, although for a short time it was yellow. The generic has been blue for baby boys. Not really sure why that is tho.

i love blue.hehehe. i love color blue since i was a child. and i hope that my child will also love the color blue.but problem is she is a girl. so i think she will choose pink.later on her life.
