Annoying buyers on Ebay, bid retractions

So I have been selling on ebay for about a year now and throughout that time I have had quite a few non paying bidders which can get really annoying especially when you are dealing with it again and again. I now have a huge list of blocked bidders. Anyhow in this last week I have had three different people make bid retractions on my items. The first one was on a book I had placed at 99 cents. The bidder bid up to 1 buck then retracted the bid about an hour after placing it stating that they had entered the wrong amount. Now I thought that if you by mistake entered the wrong amount that you were suppose to bid again entering the right amount. What i also dont see is how can 1 dollar be the wrong amount its not like they entered 100 by mistake. I think they just were playing around or decided they didnt want the item. The second was on a plush toy. Now this buyer actually wrote to me just about 10 minutes after placing the bid with a message saying simple "cancel my bid". I told them to go put in a bid retraction form if they want to cancel it. Which they ended up doing. They are now no longer a registered user. Hmm....I wonder why. The last one was today. This person bid on a plush toy and then wrote to me saying that they hadnt realized what the shipping was and no longer wanted the item. I once again told this buyer to put in a bid retraction form if they want to cancel. They have not yet done so though. I just dont get why a person would not read the whole ad before bidding. i mean wouldnt you read the shipping before you bid. Now i can understand this happening once in awile but three times in a week. Makes me fed up with it!! Has anyone else gone through this before?

Not that many times in one week. I have had someone retract their bid before but it would not have mattered becuase the items sold for much more than they were willing to pay anyway. As far as the person that retracted for the freight - What is up with that? Didn't it show before they submitted the bid? I know it always shows when I am bidding. People are just nuts and they drive us crazy.

Yes I had actually wrote up the actual shipping for each country in the auction. Unless they didnt read the description I have no clue why they didnt see the shipping price. The other thing is that the shipping wasnt even that high anyways and the item they bid on was only a buck anyways...

yeah It can get crazy and sometimes you wonder if it is even worth selling any more? The fees are outrageous to. I sold like ten items and found I got a better response from craigslist and more money, lol. Stuff ,I listed for under a dollar I would get 10.00 to 15.00 on craigslist and they come pick it up. I had to stop for now on eBay.

Unfortunately I have never had luck on craigslist. I do sometimes post on a site called kijiji...which is for local selling. I however live in a small town so it is hard to find buyers around here that is why I chose ebay since I could ship worldwide and get buyers that way.
