Do you ever get so HOOKED into a show that you watch it ALL DAY LONG?

Ok, where do I begin...it is 7pm on the East Coast, and I have been watching 9 episodes of "Deadliest Catch" since I woke up today...I know the new season started sometime last week, and I have been wanting to catch up. But, when you watch NINE episodes of "Deadliest Catch," you kind of get to the point where driving by a Red Lobster restaurant makes you want to scream. I sincerely think I will never be able to eat crab or seafood again....and I DO like the show, but, how many times can I actually watch fishermen haul up a pot of crab again and again and exactly be entertained? I think I have watched enough episodes, that I could actually sign on as a "greenhorn" and know what to do without the captain telling me. Are you a "LOST" fan or a fan of one of these shows that has sooo many episodes and you want to catch up, so you just watch them all? I sincerely don't know how much longer "Deadliest Catch" can interest it's viewers or keep it's audience. Sure, I know these men risk their lives to go hunting for crab, but honestly, I don't really care if they are 234 miles Nw or 100 miles SE of Dutch Harbor. I mean, really. Either they are going to pull up a LOT of crab, or a few, or none at all. They need to put some hot girls in thongs on these crabbing boats to boost the ratings already.

lol I usually watch a show by season. The whole season at once! I finally decided to watch Criminal Minds, well I had five years to make up. It took about a week and a half, but I got it caught up! I will wait for the season to get over then watch just about the whole season in one sitting. I do this with Hells Kitchen, I dont want to wait a week...

I started watching Criminals Minds really late too. This past winter. So I used Netflix to catch up. However, I got one episode into the fourth season and had to take a break from it. I'll catch up eventually, but I finally got Criminal Mind"ed" out.

Oh yeah. There was a time when I got really hooked on the tube. A couch potato I became. That was when I was still single... I did like "Deadliest Catch" as well. And the last one I got hooked on was in the Discovery Channel, a documentary about the Egyptian Pharaohs. I have always been a fanatic of the unknown.

Yeah we are like that we won't stop watching until we finish all series of particular TV series like Prison Break, Heroes and the latest we finished watching was the korean TV series Queen Seon Deok. From starting to morning up to midnight we are still watching it.

No, I've never done that. Its very rare that I watch TV for more than an hour or two a day unless I'm ill and cant muster up the energy to do anything. I've never heard of "Deadliest Catch" and I've only ever watched about half an hour of "Lost". Off-hand, I cant think of any TV show that I'd be really upset to miss.

Deadliest catch is on cable, but we watch it thru netflix on demand thru xbox 360, or you can watch it free on http://www.ninjavideo.net It is the world's deadliest job ever. Many fishermen lose their lives.

Yes I still remember that time when I watched "House" the series whole day. I find the show really interesting and I didnt stop watching it because I got intrigued by the next episode and how Dr. House could solve such a confusing and complicated disease. Do you guys also watch "Heroes"? I happen to have season 1 and season 2. It is also a very nice series; definitely has a lot of twists.

My bf likes House. I think he's a great actor and was surprised when I found out he is an English actor with a pretty thick accent. I can't do medical shows though. My bf also likes "Bones." Just can't do that either. Although, something funny, the other night he wanted to view the recent "Bones" episode and I wanted to watch "Shark Week." Well, he ended up watching "Bones," and I kinda stayed in the living room watching it absently. The show had to do with a shark attack victim and Bone's partner mentioned his knowledge of shark behaviour came from episodes of "Shark Week." I thought that was way funny

I am an occasional couch potato. Of all the TV shows out there, I think I watched the whole first season of Ghost Whisperer for like the whole day. I did that after taking the final exams in college. I got so hooked up that I couldn't stop. Then I slept. When I woke up, I watched the entire second season. =)

I'm also hooked on Deadliest Catch although I was sad to hear that Captain Phil Harris had passed away. I am also hooked on NCIS, even though I have seen pretty much all of the episodes.

It never ever happened to me yet. I am not hooked in watching TV . . I easily get bored when I watch TV. I love being in front of my computer more than the TV.

I could not sit and watch a show for 8-9 hours! I recently found some great shows (cancelled long ago) on Chill channel and recorded them and I can watch one or two episodes at a time but beyond that I have to get up and do something else!

No. Even if I love watching tv shows, I cannot stand to watch tv shows all day long. It is too much for me. The most I can handle is around 5 to 6 episodes only. They usually last 4 to 5 hours. After that, my eyes get tired and I get restless for having sit too long.

I have never even heard of this show, but I don't think anything could stop me from eating seafood. I absolutely love it. I wish it was cheaper here! I have watched shows all day long though. When I had cable I used to watch trading spaces quite a bit. Now, I don't have cable, so I have to buy movies or tv shows. I have Greys Anatomy Seasons 1-5 and The OC. When I started watching these, I spent many days (usually Thanksgiving) watching these shows, and then when they were over I wanted the next season. I am waiting for season 6 of Grey's to come out on DVD so that i can start watching that one too!

I completely know what you mean when you get hooked to tv shows and some of them can be really boring and repetitive but you still watch them! I did that with true blood last summer. I got hooked and watched the whole season in a couple days. I enjoyed it at least! The bad thing is a really feel like a couch potato when I do that. Cause all i do is just lie in bed with my computer. It's relaxing but i don't really do anything other then watch the tv show.

I've been through that many times before. I download the whole series on my laptop and watch all day long until I finish it. There was also this one time when I finished the whole series, and after a day, I watched it from the start again haha. I was over hooked to it.

I got hooked three times, it was greys anatomy, charmed, ghost whisperer and 7th heaven..I really like these shows since they are very interesting and i love the characters. It was a marathon day-a season marathon so I stayed up watching those shows for 8 hours straight, some 10 hours but with rest since my wife got angry and thought the tv might heat up and burst since it was overused...

I'm a huge fan of Deadliest Catch. Two weeks ago was the season premiere, and it was the highest rated episode of the show yet. The work is amazingly tough and I give credit to the guys willing to do it. I kind of think they are crazy, but I admire their work ethic. When the end of the season comes, I'll be besieged with reruns of the show. And that is when I'll probably get tired of it.

I wish I could watch my fav shows all day long than maybe I 'd be able to catch up on them. However, I will say my kids are quite addicted to PBS kids & Qubo they'd watch all day long in winter.... But I have to put my foot down and tell them to go play in the snow for a while or find something else to do that is healthy for them.

Yes, I was. It was all because of "House". I happen to have bought a complete season of house on DVD and have watched the first episode up the the present available season episode. It was really fun and interesting. Well, I was not really a fan of house at first but I was able to watch one episode of house in season 3 in our cable program and decided to buy the DVD so I could watch the first up to the present episode.

When I was in Beijing I was addicted to South Korean soap. when I was at my home myself sometimes i played the DVD of this kind of soap and watched them over 12 hours a day, without going out. Now I think it's really a crazy time. I would not do it again. Now I just occasionally watch tv, most of my time I spend on internet. not good either. I need going out to take exercise and be sociable.

That sounds like me! . I like watching TV series so much and I think I'm addicted to it. I once watched Bones a whole season in a day . Then I got so hooked with The Great Queen Seon Deok (korean series) and watch it 10 episodes in a day. The last one is on the April fools day. Fox Channel gave me a treat of The Simpsons marathon tho whole 24 hours! But I didn't watched it the whole day LOL. Yes, I'm a fan of lost, but I'm stuck with season three d'oh!]

Currently i'm a NCIS addict. I got burnt out on deadliest catch about a year ago. I have noticed you cant go a whole day on discovery without hearing mike rowe's voice. not counting the car commercials.
