Well although I am so concerned about the right choice of candidate I don't think I will be so frustrated should my choices did not make it. If the wrong candidate wins and by wrong candidate I mean either Villar and Erap then what can I do but accept that the voters have not really learned! At any rate, after the election, its fever on me stops as well. I don't really put all my hope in the President of this land. None of them is perfect and I believe there could be times that even my choice would disappoint me in one way or another. Now if the wrong candidate wins, then life still goes on for me. It has been many years that we've been tasting wrong President running this county... (Erap then Gloria being the latest ones.) and yes for some it could be like hell but life has not been hell really as far as I am concerned. I am not depending my life on the President but on God. So whether the President is good or bad I believe the Lord is good all the time and in Him I always find ways and means to live in a piece of heaven despite the odds.

Hello salonga, life goes on and trouble is that more people will rise as poor and poverty will increase and more corrupt officials will suck the life out our normal earnings and leave the country if they are proven guilty, like lacson did. we have the will to change with god's mercy

hello bestwriter, me neither, only do something not much of a difference. i know on my side who's the wrong candidate and i've been afraid ever since because the wrong one for me is being portrayed as winnable. i don't want the inexperienced to win, i want the one with experience, results and integrity to win

Wrong or right candidate, it should not matter that much. The President is not of ultimate power. He or she can't RULE the world. He/she is just nominated by the people to do a particular job - to lead. Plus, don't worry about choosing the wrong one, regardless how good a person might be as a leader, and regardless what he/she does to serve the country, there will always be critics around. Ready to point out what was done wrong. I could say it's a thankless job. I think what we could do is to not only focus on the President but also the other members of the government we are trying to put in. We can start by demanding the the least government official we vote do his/best. Remember that these people are not magicians. They're not saints either. Who ever would go up to run for office if he/she has no personal intentions anyway. It's just like how we ourselves struggle for power in school or at work, we all have vested interests. What matters is that the person put in those places should at least deserve it. One good way to know if the person does deserve the seat is by assessing. In his/her years in the public service, what has he/she done that we could truly say he/she is worth or deserves the position? and I hope we can answer that firmly and not just say 'because his parents are great'. You will know when a candidate speaks if he/she is just for show or if he/she has the capacity to lead.

Hello laydee, I know they're not magicians, i don't want magicians. i want TRANSFORMERS. most specially the ones who had proven themselves already in their back years during their days in the local leadership. I know my candidate is not a people pleaser but a reality talker and encourager. trouble is most people misinterpret his words of wisdom. too bad most people are still fooled by this winnability crap

Our political situation is already a living hell. Our problem i guess is not about what will happen if we choose the wrong candidate. I believe everyone has good intentions. The question is for how long would he be able to stick to his intentions and not give in the corruption that's been going for decades around him. Corruption is already too deep it even exist in the Barangay level. The would be president would have to be someone who is rock solid in his conviction to lead the country. Besides i think it would take more than a good president to transform this country within six years.

hello ybong, I agree with you there, i don't trust other candidates that has too many senatorial, congressional and local area. besides i don't like candidates who back out on debates or doesn't clear out on they're platforms. i want him to win becuse he can encourage more to volunteer, he can't do it by himself of course

If that happens then we still do the usual - all kinds of protests/rallies and another round of impeachment complaints. I don't think we're gonna be satisfied with the service of whoever occupies the highest position in our government. For those who are not satisfied or fulfilled with how our government runs our country then it is surely hell. And as for me only God knows about the future of our country with corruption already strongly embedded in our culture.

Hello hunterkim, i believe volunteerism can be effective because it will encourage more people to do they're part for the country and not depend too much on the government. they can provide only a little that's why we should always focus on how we make our won difference and not just the government do for us.

i would say there is a wrong candidate here. it could be that one is a better leader, one is a better politician, one is a closer to the people, one is most loved by filipinos. i don't believer there is wrong to become a candidate, but what we could say is, our bet didn't win. you have your bet, i have mine, they got theirs. who ever wins the presidency, i guess, what we all have to do is support him. did everybody loved or voted for Obama, no? but the majority of the Americans did vote for him. but what now, they are critics, etc. etc. and they are trying the same thing that we did to our previous leaders. there are some who liked them but there are always who dislike the President.
