Do you throw away leftovers or save them for later to eat?

I tend to save the leftovers rather than throw them away because I do not like wasting food. There are a lot of people out there in places that are starving and I think that you should be grateful that you have food on your plate so you should not waste food. What about you?

Of course not! We save left overs and keep it in the fridge. I can't afford wasting food. There are lots of people who are starving and does not have any food to eat. I don't think I have the right to waste food.

I don't like wasting the food because there are many people still starving all over the world. It is a shame for us to waste the food. Therefore, I will try to finish the food. If I really can't finish it, I will keep the leftovers and add some ingredients and eat them later. It is not need to throw away the leftovers. I love China

I always save leftovers, too. I am pretty meticulous about recyling and being resourceful, so throwing away leftovers feels like a huge waste to me.

I save leftovers. I like to recycle them as much as possible... meaning, turn them into a different dish, such as grilled chicken shredded and mixed with egg to turn into an omelet. It's a pity to throw it if you can still safely make it edible.

We also save leftovers coz we don't want to waste it. As long as it is still edible we save it. Or sometimes we use it to create another dish.

I never throw leftovers away. That would be a waste of food and money to me. I usually either eat the leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. When I was working I would always take leftovers from my dinner the night before. It would save me money from buying food outside. I can't imagine throwing leftovers away. I wonder if alot of people do this.

I was trained by an aunt not to waste food. I recycle leftover food. For example, left over fried fish can be made into what we call sarsiado or even made into filling for omelette. Left over rice can be recycled to make fried rice. I just have to saute garlic and add green peas, shredded scrambled egg, chopped carrot and left over sausages or hot dogs.

As a university student living away from family, throwing leftovers is a crime! haha I would never ever throw lefovers, I would always keep em in containers and then in the fridge. Whenever I want to eat them, I would just heat them up, this way I could save time cooking next time and also save on money. As a child, I was drilled to not waste food, it was unacceptable to my parents because my parents knew how it felt like to be hungry, to have nothing to eat and to go to bed with an empty stomach.

I strongly agree whit your opinion. I am always grateful that i received, especially in the form of food fortune. Do not most of the foods that will prepare our meals. better food to eat a little then add more if less, than we eat lot but left. If left better saved for later
