why do we have to please everybody?

my thing on this, if i am alright with them then the respect should be there. we cant make everyone happy, we must make ourself happy first, but as long it dont hurt people we love or like. or if it means us being nasty towards stranger. i am the sameway if someone dont like me because of my bleife and life stlye. or just how i see things. oh well. what you see is what you get. i refuse to change my ways to make people happy, mostly strangers. i was once why i was worry a t shirt that had a picture of the devil on it and said born to raise hell. the doctor asked me i had it on ? simple no a/c in my truck. then he was like it shows i have a bad attuide and i dont care what anyone think of me. yeah i dont care what anyone think of me, and it dont show i have a bad attuide. but as you are polite and respectful to everyone then dont worry about it.

No one doesn't have to please everyone by sacrificing one's self esteem.. Your post makes me feel that you sacrifice your own pride, while striving to please others. That is not healthy! I keep a safe and happy relationship with everyone around. If I don't like anything, my actions speak louder- or rather, my silence speaks for me... And after some time, people realise their mistakes and ask to be forgiven...

Hi Shigeraldz, You are absolutely right. What you have said is perfect. For me, we are not liable to please everybody. Since we are different to one another. However, there are some situations that might need our sense of sensitivity. There are times, what is fine with us might not be fine with others. Like for example, in closing the doors, to others, its alright with them if they just close it and bagged it down, but for me, doors must be close gently. Especially if you are living in a flat or boarding house.

will, that is what who really you are! at least you are truth to yourself., to please everybody is very normal to me., i easily please to anyone because of the environment where i belong., sometimes to pleasing to everybody can influence people surrounded you who are very friendly., pleasing people can make them to encourage to do things and challenge them to do good things to other.,

Nobody is perfect, just try to do your best and ignore the bad people. Nobody has to please everybody is just that there are times that you need to and other times that you've to or something bad can happen if not. Is the life and the world we've, sometimes people need to do sacrifices to progress in life.

I have given up trying to please everybody when I was nine. At that age, I have realized that people will hate hate you for the smallest reason possible, and I'm not even talking about kids here. I have learned that no matter how hard you strive, there will always be a teachers pet. Hi! I have been living like I live, trying to be myself, talking what's on my mind but just recently, I saw that my words sometimes really hurt people, here is not a talk about lying to other people but sometimes it is better just not to say everything just because people get hurt. According to Bible you have to treat people good, love them like you love yourself. And then life will love you. You will see how many things just go your way. Don't you have sometimes a feeling that all troubles just happen to you and without any reason. Why just you? All starts from your inside! Be happy, friendly to other people, don't think bad about other and life will treat you good!!! Everything will go your way! And of course - you can be yourself! Be happy and happy mylotting!

try to please anybody by making friendship then.. if you are planning to run this election, now during this campaign period you should be intellegent and planned it will you should gain friendship and don't ever try to snab anybody., by making friends then you can please everybody not only that, do some helpful project specially for the youth and do proposal. if you noticed that somebody do not like your attitude then try to study his attitude., so that you can please him.

we don't have to please everyone because no matter how we try, we actually can't. people will have comments or talk about you but after a while it will just pass but people who cares for you will accept you for who you are.

We just think we need to please everybody. It is our way of gaining acceptance from others. First we need to please ourselves and be happy from the inside. After we achieve this we can try to please someone else. As long as we are pleased with ourselves, anything else is an extra reward.

Not all people in this world we can please and we are not required to conform to how they think or act. We are all unique individuals and we tend to change not for the reasons that people want us to change but because it is our freewill to change. well if you were to ask me about it, i dont really do things just to please somebody or anybody... as long as i am happy with what i am doing then that is already okay for me...

We must be friendly with all other peoples , we must respect them if we want from them to respect us like we do.If somebody don`t like us ,this is his problem , we don`t care about it , we live our life , enjoy it with friends happily and so.He can pay as out of his attention.

i used to be like that before. but then i realized that i cannot please everybody and then later on, i'm beginning to lose my self identity. so i stopped doing it. it doesn't matter anymore if they don't agree to what i say or do. what's important is that i know for myself that i haven't hurt anyone around me, and i like what i'm doing. so what i did is the other way around. i don't wanna be hypocrite. it's up to them now if they like me or not. i just wanna be true to myself.

Hiii there If you are talking about your work place then yes there are many offices where back politics flourish and you have to be in team and please your boss no matter how the treat you.Best way is to be your own boss and start working for yourself. You are right but world isnt a perfect place and there some bad things and good things out there.

we don't have to please everyone, and I certainly don't lol, I rub a lot of people up the wrong way and people find me arogant some times. But I in my opinion ain't I am very confident which comes across arogant sometimes but if people do not like me or find me offensive or arogant then its not really my problem lol, I live my life the way I want too and think live should be lived and my main priority is my family above anybody else. Pleasing some one makes us feel that we are dependent up on him/her - and there are chances of taking advantages of these weaknesses also. Yes - to move on in this society and balance our works there are some unique occasions wherein even though you have sufficient knowledge about the subject e3ven then you have to please the party. For example - my boss is a US resident and I am working with him - though I can manage things myself because of my enormous experience I have to pleas him obeying his commands -this is because he is paying for me only for this I have to please him.

We really shouldn't please anybody. Because we should be ourselves. So what if they will not like our attitude or the we are. The good thing is we are living our life to the fullest without thinking about the thoughts of people around us. Don't mind them. It is just a waste of time.

katie couric (the CBS Evening News anchor) says "you can't please everyone and you can't make everyone like you". everyone is different and we have to be true to ourselves. people will just have to accept us for what we are. we can't be happy if all we think about is how to please everyone else.
