Chinese language help.....urgent please

Hi all, I know that the english equivalent for games is youxi and what it is for play or game....I need a better word than 'wan'for it's not helping my subject..please mylotters...any chinese people and chinese language known people can you help me.....

Hi, friend. It's good to know that you're interested in my mother tongue. As to your question, there are two kinds of Chinese equivalents for playing games. One is "wan youxi" which is a little bit formal. The other is"da youxi" which is the most commonly used equivalent for playing games. Hope this helps.

No. You have some misunderstandings out there. "da" in "da youxi" doesn't mean the same as "da" in "da xiao"(the english equivalent for "da xiao" is "big and small". You seem to have some misunderstandings in sound. Each Chinese word has four different sounds. The first "da" should be pronounced as second sound to mean playing games while the second "da" is pronounced as fourth sound to mean big games. It may sound confusing. I hope i can make myself understood.
