The bible says that God took a rib from Adam, the first man to make his wife Eve.I was having a conversation with my girlfriend who put this principle in a totally new perspective. It is her claim that our soulmates are the person from which our rib was sourced (in the case of women) or the woman that has our rib(in the case of men ).Granted I know she meant it more metaphorically than literally but it would explain why some people cant find their their "soulmates" because the "rib" they seek could be in someone and somewhere we wouldnt even think of looking .It could be in someone who is outside of our cultural scope and geographic location hence you could be in the Australia and your rib could be in South Africa.
Anyway I will stop theorising and simply asK if you have found your "RIB"

Yes, I found my rib...and it was about 45 miles away from me, and it only took 30 yrs of my life to find it...lol. That is so funny...Who knows if its true or not, who knows your rib may be half way around the world from you, and there are only a few people that truly find the right one.

Yes, I found from where MY rib came about 6 years ago. I lived on the East coast of he US & he lived on the West coast. We met on the internet & I knew from the first word he spoke that was from where my rib had come. I knew he completed my soul & as time went by, he said I completed his soul also. It was a match made in Heaven!!! I had never thought of it in the term of having my true mate's missing rib, but it makes sense!!! Maybe you need to hold on to this lady as she seems to be a smart cookie that seems to feel that you complete her!!! If there's ANY way you feel the same, I wish you BOTH the BEST life has to offer!!!

Okay I have an extra rib and I presume it’s my husband’s…Or is it? How can one really know? (LOL) I thought I found the owner of my rib many times but it always turned out that they found their rib elsewhere and left me alone with a nameless rib. When I met my husband we were both sure that my rib matched his ribs but you know what they say...You never do know!

I would have never thought about it this way, but it is such a beautiful way of saying it. I've heard people refer to their significant other as the half that makes them whole and now I have a whole new way to think about it. Yes, I have found the person that my extra rib belongs to and it is my husband. From the first time that we met, I knew that he was the person that would make me whole. We've been together for eight years now and I couldn't imagine my life to be any different from what it is right now.

hell0 Ronny! we all now that story( myth) from the Bible where it is said that God has created woman from a rib from the first man- Adam. he just too it from him and shape the woman from it.
well, till date unfortunately I haven't found my missing rib yet, but really hope to find it soon, because it is really hard living without a rib:)
well, several months ago, while I still was with my ex-girlfriends I really tought I have found it ( the rib), but unfortunately I saw that it wasn't my rib, it was the rib of someone else, and that made me feel really sad, because I just loved that rib so much, really as my own and I was so disappointed to know it isn't
hope next time I will find my real one
keep your fingers crossed for me

Hi, ronnyb. I have found mines in my husband. My husband used to always say this to me when we are alone together. He would say that I am his other half, rib. I hope that I don't have the wrong man,
here because I had no idea that the rib can be traced back to another man from another culture that I am not familiar with.
