We are planning on going on vacation in July but can not decide where to go. It will be in the USA somewhere and we are going to be driving. My husband only has 9 days of vacation in July. We live in Texas. Would appreciate some ideals. It will only be my husband, myself and my 23 year old son.

Maybe you could drive south and enjoy spending some time by the coast. You could do some relaxing things like picnic by the seashore, fly a kite, go swimming and watch some of the wildlife. You might like to travel in the direction of Florida and see how far you get. You have just 9 days so you won't wish to travel far away from Texas. I hope that you will have a very enjoyable vacation in the USA.

We have thought about going to Orlando and even go to Disney World. We were there 2 years ago with all of my family but did not see much of Downtown Disney or Epcot and we would love to spend more time there this time with no kids.

well i guess it depends on your budget. you can have a staycation (where you stay at home and do day stuff), you could go to mexico, california or travel around the southern us, or if you are planning to fly, you could come up here to canada! we have lots to do and see here in ontario :-) niagara falls, toronto also offers a lot!

We stay home last year and my husband wants to go somewhere this year. We are not flying. After many years finally convincing my husband how much money we could save not flying. I thought about going to San Diego but it is a long drive and you go through the desert which we have done before but it has been like 32 years ago. I don't think my husband wants to drive there really. I know he has always wanted to go to San Diego.
