How many people here had to take an extensive break from studying?

I am doing an online program, Business Studies degree and was unfortaunately layed off which made niot able to continue in my studies like how I wanted to. I am going 8 months now without being able to doa anything on there and I wish I could have, because now I would be a far way along. So who else is having this problem? I am sure lots and lots of people. It takes money to do things and unfortunately I am low on that now like so many others.
