Is your library a quiet one?

I have been to libraries and there is one that I visit at times that it's the noisiest of them all. The worst part is that's it's the librarians and their helpers that are making the most noise. I remember when I was at my library in High School you had to whisper now you talk openly and the cell phones are going off people cursing occasionally, I know seems hard to believe but it does happen, I have seen and heard it first hand. I am here today and it's not so bad, it's quiet today, maybe there is a change coming.

Hi, motivated81. Where we live, our library is very quiet. The librarians will not tolerate anyone being loud and out of hand. If there is constant noise, they will watch you. I don't like going to my library because they are very picky at times when my kids are with me. My kids like to play and run around, so I can't take them with me when I am going to check out a book.
