I have visited fifty different countries in the world. Over the years discover more favorites. At the moment Samoa is my favorite country that I have visited. It is a cheap place to visit and it is unspoilt. I loved seeing the palm fringed beaches, the cool waterfalls, the green rain forest and the lovely views. My second favorite country is Australia. I loved seeing its landscape and unique wildlife. My third favorite country is New Zealand and it has amazing walks. I did some walks over several days and the scenery was very beautiful.

I may be a little bias but I'm a huge fan of Australia! The most enticing thing about the country is its unique flora and fauna. Australia is home to 755 species of reptile, for a start; which is quite impressive, I think. Sure, that list comprises some of the world's deadliest snakes - I saw one only days ago, in fact - but you don't let little things like that deter you. Australia is also the country of residence to the planet's only monotremes (egg laying mammals) in the echidna and platypus. In Australia you'll also find the Great Barrier Reef - the world's largest coral reef - which, of course, supports a huge variety of life, as well. In my opinion, Australia's natural beauty is unsurpassed. The country encompasses a vast array of habitats from deserts to tropical rainforests. Uluru (Ayers Rock), the Blue Mountains and the Twelve (nine?) Apostles are just a few of the many stunning examples of what Australia has to offer.
