Hi, It is really hard to tell which movie is the best, I mean there are so many really good movies and it is difficult to choose just one from them. I am gonna directly come to your question. In order to learn english from movies you have to first choose whether you want to learn the American English or the British English. If you are more comfortable with American English then stick to it. This is because at the very beginning there is a high possibility of getting confused between the two. Learn either of them, master either one and you will master the other in time. Now if you have chosen one, then avoid the other for a few days. Suppose you are interested in American English, then you have an added advantage. There are so many movies available over net for free that you will get almost anything you want. You may want to download a few good movies. Use torrent search engine. You will get every detail from here http://selflearners.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/download-movies-songsbookssoftwares-for-free/ Now you have to keep in mind that not all movies will help you in learning english. Look for social movies, preferably comedies and funny movies. In that way it becomes easy to judge whether you are really understanding it. I mean, if a funny movie doesn't make you laugh that means you are having problem understanding it. Avoid movies with subtitles,as they will slow down the process of learning. Action movies wont help you much in your purpose. So its better if you avoid them for a few days. Download movies and then watch them carefully with high level of attention. Stay alert on your purpose. Try to identify the way the language is spoken. Try to differentiate between the different usage of the same word. Try to comprehend the meaning of a long speech. You don't have to memorize anything. Just try to have an excerpt in your mind. Follow the style, and pronunciation. Try to take notes of important usages. Once you start enjoying the process it will give you more than an ordinary spoken english class. Thanks God bless you

Well my favourite movie would be Stand By Me. I dont exactly learn anything from that movie but by watching it you have a nice trip down memory lane thats for sure. Its a coming of age tale and tells about 4 boys who go on a overnight journey in their local woods to find the body of a young boy who has been missing. The movie was adapted from a Stephen King novel and he even used real life experiences to write the novel.

I dont have a favorite movie exactly, but I like cartoons and action-themed flicks You learn English from movies or even tv shows by watching a lot of it. But i would recommend reading first. It will let your go back to any other part that you can't understand. watching films would be more fore accent training
