We can find a large number of laptop brands in the world market these days. Due to this the people sometimes get confused and as a result they came up with an inferior laptop. Now tell about yourself. If you have to buy a laptop or recommend a laptop to someone else, which brand will you prefer?

whatever brand you have it doesnt matter, as it depends to the usgae and how you take care of it. i used to have a local brand laptop before its neo compare to my bf sony vaio and we both buy it same year but his sony laptop got problem with the monitor as it changes colors and when he bring it to sony service center they said they need to replace the mother board and its too expensive. while mine still working though the battery didnt last for an hour so its always attached to the charger and its gone now coz someone took it inside my room. i also bought thin hp but i replace it coz its hot easily and now im already contented with my hp as even if i used it for many hours its still not hot.

i would buy a dell. for one main reason as long you owe it you get free help with it either on the phone or net.

I would recommend HP compaq or toshiba. Dont ever go for dell because i have seen so many problems in dell laptops. Hp's performance and design both are awesome. I am using HP compaq but i have never got any problem other than software problem

Nowadays, there are many brands out there which are both cheap and good performing. It depends on your budget and the kind of performance and specifications you are looking for. I think the most important is that the service centres should be easily accessible to you, and that the customer service is good.

i'm a bit biased because i'm into graphics & video editing. i'd recommend a Dell's Alienware, Sony Vio or an iMac. i think they're called desktop replacements. I'm using Acer's Ferrari now, and it's sweet...going to get an Alienware soon :)
