I received email notification from Mylot, about a friend who made the discussion. whether my friend will receive an email each time I make the discussion? or I must set the advance notice?

yes, if your friend make a discussion you will get notification and so you do. if you make a discussion all your friends will get notification if they do not turn off the notification. have a nice day and happy mylotting.

no, mylot notifies without you doing anything to tell it to

When you become friends with another myLot member, it is automatically turned on, so you will be receiving a notification whenever that friend starts a discussion, and he/she will also receive notifications when you start a discussion. However, if you wish to stop receiving such notifications, you can manually turn the notification off by going to your friends list (the 8th tab on the myLot taskbar just above the search box). Hope that clears your query.
