Some people find tattoos as self expression, some take it as an art or some simply want to put them for their own personal reason. I believe its a matter of choice for everyone. If you ask me i wont put any tattoos on my body. Not that i dont think its good its just that i dont want to see any markings or any painting like on my skin. Again as i said its a matter of choice and for me i just dont feel like it

I agree its a choice and i repect people that dont want them so I think they should repesct people that have them. Im not saying you dont just in general. :) My boyfriend doesnt understand why I have them, but he doesnt care as long as I dont get them all over, which I dont plan on doing.

Yup just like you i tend to respect other people who wants to have tattoos all over their body.As i said some take it as a self expression or form of art maybe its just not my cup of tea. Just like other people who dont like to eat meat and some like it.Preference is what we commonly say to that kind of choice too hahaha .Enjoy your day my friend and happy mylotting!

I have tattoos 7 of them. Yes sometimes they can hurt getting them put on. For someone that is just getting there first tattoo I would say get a small one. Because some people try to start out big in getting one and they can't handle it very well. So if you are thinking about getting one start out small so you will know how it feels to you and make sure its something you want to live with for the rest of your life because it can cost a lot of money to just get one removed going through a doctor. And from what I hear it don't tickle getting them removed either.

I have a rose on my upper arm, I have a black panther coming out of a rose on the other upper arm, I have a butterfly and a rose right beside each other, I have a wold on a rock howling at the moon, rolling stones symbol and the worst one that hurt was tribal art band across my lover back with a rose on each side and gems through the tattoo and a tribal art butterfly connected to the bottom of it which goes beyond my back. It took the guy a couple hours to do that tattoo. I am drawing up another tattoo I want and I am sure it wont tickle either lol. I am not done drawing the whole thing yet. what is your tattoos?

It depends on the person. I didnt think that it hurt, it was a good pain. It additive and you just want to keep getting more of them. I have two of them right now and I want to get atleast one more. My first one is on my lower back and its a butterfly and flowers. I LOVE it i planned this tattoo for 3 year before I was able to get it because I was a minor. My second was less thought out, but I love it just as much its stars and a moon which has special meaning to me and my best friend.

henna tattoo - sticker like tattoo
The history of body art started with prehistoric humans. In the prehistoric era, belief in a soul, guarded by the spirit of another creature, inspired pictures of that creature on the body. The spirit of that creature guarded, gave safety, and led the soul down the path of life. Body art was a way to keep the spirit close, always.Throughout time, body art kept its position as a spiritual expression, and it also became an expression of social importance. tattoos are body art.some people do want tattoos on their bodies as a sign of loving art.there were also some people who just want henna ones, which are washable. i think it's really painful.specially when being placed near the bone.i'm a person who is scared of pain.i don't think i could get able to cope the pain from putting tattoo on my body.actually, once i got wounded on my arms,it got me thinking that i could get some scarification.but i don't think it would be nice.so i'd rather forget it then.when i see tattoo on a person,it makes me think that, the person who has it is strong, can take pain ignored.

I want to get a tattoo also for myself. But I'm just not sure where and about what. I've decide long time back when I find my true love, my wife - I'll get her name on my chest where my heart is. Also the names of my two daughters(hopefully) on my shoulders.
