What to get a guy after a play???

My boyfriend was in a play recently and I was unsure of what to get him afterwartds as a congrats of sorts. For women you traditionally get then a buncvh of flowers but is that socially acceptable for guys?
I guess it depends on the guy really but do you get them nothing? A cigar maybe? Somethign else? This is a question that confuises me. Maybe I should just take him out for dinner enxt time or something...

don't try impressing him, you could give him anything that comes to your mind, it's could be a deep kiss, a part in the back, a hug, s** when you get home, just try and be real with youself, your thoughts and person, so for me i'll say a dinner might do just well to impress as much as you could.

Get him a bubbly.. and hand him to him with a wink. Setting the mood already huh? 
I would appreciate that. After a tiring production .. a nice massage from the woman I love would be nice. Or go bubble bath together while sipping some bubbly.. hmmm
