i am always criticised by the elders for wasting time on facebook.they say its a very important period in my life and i should focus on studies.they are right but i dont think there is any harm if stay in contact with m friends through facebook.its is somewhat true that facebook is addictive but i guess staying in contact with friends is not wasting time.what do you think friends?

As long as you can properly manage your time, i think it is not a waste of time. But if you spent hours doing facebook, then it is really a waste of time. If you just make a status, and comment, and little stuff every now and then. I think it is ok. It is good to connect to your friend.

Hi Antony..Facebook is a social networking site and there is no harm using it ..I would say that it quite useful to stay in touch with our dear once. It is a place where you can even start interacting with foreigners just like mylot . I would not say that facebook is addictive !..atleast not for me ..I know to control my self while using internet . Facebook is also fun . It has plenty of applications . Yep , the elders in my house also say the same thing , but i guess they are saying that with half knowledge which is incorrect. Happy mylotting and have a nice day

As long as you are NOT neglecting your studies then I see nothing wrong with being on Facebook...Its a good way to stay in touch with or get back in touch with friends and family..its a great stress reliever IMO and EVERYONE (including your parents) has a favourite pasttime or hobby..Just make sure that you are taking care of whatever you need to take care of (in your case your studies, in my case my home and family)...

i think if you are doing well with your studies, and are not getting in any kind of trouble then you should be able to hang out on facebook. i am on there all day. i like you connect with friends and family. i don't think it's wasting your time if you are still doing other things. so as long as you have a healthy balance then i say hang out on facebook it's fine

If you are still studying then you should not devote much of your time of facebook. You can probably do it on weekends and spend not more than two hours in a day. You would really need to focus more on your studies. Personally I don't even spend that much time on facebook. I just browse for a few minutes for updates from friends.

haha =D I think it's really a waste of time, by spending time on facebook.. hehe ^_^ With the time spent in there, i might as well be out there with them, hanging out in cafes, and be meeting them for real.. lol =D And if they are my classmates, then all the more it's a waste of time, when i'm already seeing them in school everyday!! haha =D

I find no benefits from Facebook. I get in touch with friends only on important and relevant matters. I don't think I should ever waste my time on Facebook tracking each and every one's activities whatever they may be or posting mine or my comments for others to see. I do not find playing games there a wise way of spending time either. There are so many productive ways of spending time and certainly facebook is not one of them.

Facebook is good for socializing with friends and other people of your age or with common interests. It is good even for finding out your future way by exchanging comments and opinions. But spending too much time on Facebook is not indicated. You have to manage your time to spend enough time for everything you need: studies, in your case. Facebook can really become addictive!

I think its not a waste of time at all... If you know how to manage your time and besides facebook can be a good tool to your studies, because this way you can also contact with your classmates so you can ask some questions about your homework or anything that is related to your studies. Or maybe you can also contact with your teachers (if your fiends) which is a very good thing....

Facebook has become a trend in multiple society. If there is a question about is it worth wasting our time in facebook, i will answer it depends to what our activity in it. Facebook is the same media as our five senses, when i got an idea to speak out and i don't know to who i will share my idea, then i'll go to facebook to set my status, (FB is so clever when they write "What is in your mind" sentence in the blank status field), then people will come to response. Just now i'm chatting with my friend via Facebook Messenger to share about our business. It is so exciting. So use facebook or other social website wisely then you will get benefit from it.

Is facebook a site used to talk? Contacting with your friends is a good method to keep your human networking ,it makes nothing wrong ,but if you always stay on facebook and do nothing meaningful to improve yourself,it is badly waste of time ,so guy ,be concerned about it carefully .

depends on how you use it. if its for keeping in touch with your friends, old classmates then i don't think it is a waste of time. it is a means of communication to someone far from you ., or in my case i use it as a business account. i sell products online. so it is not a waste of time.
