I am not a big fan of KC Concepcion. I thought her crazy for being a wannabe in the recording and the acting industry. At her age, she is nothing like her mom when Sharon was 12. I did think she must stick to the ads endorsement when all she has to do is to feel pretty. But alas!, the young lady persisted to make a career in the entertainment world. She probably could not be taken in seriously in other fields because she is a showbiz daughter. And showbiz, the industry that treats her like royalty, is giving her all the chances to shine. Well, I had a one minute viewing of KC hosting The Buzz yesterday. There is brains between the ears, ha ha! I think she is a lot better than her predecessor.

I agree with you. I was quite surprised that she can hold her own in hosting. I think she is Sharon's version had she gone to school. I am actually impressed with what she has done. A lot of showbiz daughters will just ride on the coattails of their parents. They choose not to study, or if they do, they don't aim very high academically. But KC chose to study at the University of Paris, lived on her own there and then now she is even a UN ambassador. She is also not like the others who go in and out a relationship. She has a good head on her shoulders.
Gossip has it though that she and her mother are total $#$%!@$& behind the camera. Of course, that's just gossip.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. Rumor is true. Camera caught Sharon's anger and she snapped at KC during a press interview several months back. KC gracefully exited. Knowing Sharon, she only wants the best for her daughter. KC seems to be at the crossroads of her life. Hmmm, I am not a Sharon fan either but I do hope she and KC come to terms with each other like what a mother and daughter should be. Like in the movies, I wish they could live happily ever after.

I am also not a local movie fan.:) But years ago, when I was still studying, I had a friend who was a die-hard fan of Sharon. So she would make us watch with her Sharon's movies. The thing is, since we were studying, we could only watch during weekends, which was usually the day-off of maids here. So there we were lining up with the maids and drivers ...

Must be a blast, ha ha. You could have written your own maid/driver love story and submitted your plots to that local version of Mills and Boon. You could have made so much money.

I also think so too. I guess she is a budding artist as compared to her mom and dad but she is doing her thing about her life and career. I pretty much admire her advocacy for hunger and is doing her own fund raising campaign for her cause. It is a rare incidence that some celebrity would do that.

I love and admire KC as person. I love what she has done so far with her life and she has accomplished so much already at such a young age. Though she is her own person, I find that a lot of her opportunities came from the fact that her parents are famous and part of the who's who in showbiz. Sad to say also, I just don't like her acting and singing. As to hosting I don't find her that great either. Though I believe she is better in hosting than in acting and singing. I also find her too sugary and too sweet to the point of being not normal or false and I find her OA. I laud Sharon though for being such a great mom for raising such a great daughter

agree with you elieenleyva, one thing also people would not appreciate KC because she is a child of two great artist here in our coutry, she is measure with his parents skills thats why a lot of people cannot appreciate her.
Well with what you said she work hard to excel, and she got her forte in hosting..
she is indeed intelligent and beautiful..'

Hi Eileen,
I was able to watched here two episodes in The Buzz and i truly admire her sensitivity in throwing up questions and dealings with her guests. she's sweet enough and candid. same with you i am not a KC fan but i appreciate her confidence and wit in being a talk show host.

If I could give KC unsolicited advice, then she must pursue the diplomatic field. She seems a natural with taking care of deprived children. KC has a class of her own, a lot more dignified than the artists seen daily on local tv. She must go to New York, or London, or ... just away from here.

Ohhh I totally agree on that!
KC is a great host, shes not boring and shes smart and witty. I love listening to every words she say! She has the potential in that field. I mean, I'd rather see her to hosting than acting or singing.

But I would have loved her more had she chosen another field. Showbiz is not so clean. She could have mattered more had she ventured the ambassadorial post.

KC has the talent not just to host but also to sing. This woman sings very well too. She is articulate and witty as proven by how she hosts The Buzz. But there is just one thing that would certainly destroy her voice in the long run. I noted that she is a smoker just like her Mom, and her step-Dad.
That's something new.
