Are you possessive over your car keys?

My car keys are a bit like Linus's blanket to me. I am the main driver in the family and I like it that way. There have been a few times that I haven't been able to drive for a bit (surgery/broken wrist) and I have hated it! My car keys are a symbol of independence to me and it just doesn't feel right not to have them in my pocket. Do you cling on to yours or are you happy to let someone else drive you around in your car?

Hiya Wizzy, Am possessive about Car Keys too and my Car I don´t actually drive the Car at the moment but that´s all the same to me as she is mine. So I am forever protecting the Car Keys when we are out. If we are in a Bar I shove them close to me and stand in front of them so no one can see them. You cannot be too careful now some unbelievable things go on. I don´t really want to be like that but you´re not going to wave you Car Keys in front of everyone and say hey look these are mine are you? Twp of us cannot have the Car so I opted out as he is the one who has got a real job and the Car is the only one we have got so I had to give in and let him have it for his work but she is still mine.

Yes, this is MY car too and I am the one with the job. I get the petrol, organise the tax and insurance and any repairs/servicing; I check the water,oil, and tyres & I'm the one who cleans it (but then, I'm probably the one who dirties it)

Hiya Wizzy, Well he does clean it well rather the Machine does it and he just goes along with the whole process. He does dirty it more than I do as well as he drives it much more often than me but then he´s bound to get it dirty as he has to go on long journeys all over the place. Just thanking God he´s still got a Job and I don´t mind the Car getting dirty because where there is muck there is money gal there you go.

When the husband drives, he uses HIS keys. I hang on to mine pretty tightly except when the car's in for service. Actually I hang on to all of my possessions pretty tightly. My brothers used to steal things...
