Pay Pal account is some what not working??why?

Well umit, I have an old pan card the no is: ADTPB6835E,i did pay the income taxes promptly those days, but now for the last five years i do not hold a secured job, i am just doing some small jobs to cover my expences. (just lsst month i started doing online jobs, so far no good).i gave the same number to register for a "PAYPAL account" say your pan number is not valid. I couldnt get a PAYPAL account. So I assume i have to get a new pan card to get PAYPAL account..

Hi umit,
You discussion is one week old now and what happened to your account problems, is it solved or not?
The name in your paypal account and name in the PAN card should be same otherwise it won’t accept it. Many of my friends faced the same problem. For internet, people are making user names and not using their real names, that creates problem with paypal.

Hi Sreekala, the username in the email address given to paypal should not cause any problem as far as account holders name is concerned. Sometimes the name in the pancard, or in the bank account are not matching because of dataentry errors. My daughter is having such problem and is trying to get it corrected. There is a specific application form for this in 'www.incometax.gov.in'.

yes its true when the IT returns are not paid then the card is dishonoured!i think this the reason the pan card is not accepted

I don't think you can make Paypal account from your bank. Paypal account can only be opened from paypal website. You can try contacting customer service.
