Do you remember when your kid can speak a whole sentence?

My son named Yangyang, 21-months old, had made his 1st sentence last weekend:" Baba...Nao...Mimi".The sentence just consists of 3 noun his usually used without verb. But I can understand it clearly, it means: Dad, open the computer and show me the picture of animals in it. Before that, he could only speak one word one time. We were surprised at that moment, as my son can express himself with sentence even though the setence is not "legal".This is the milestone in his growing I think... How about your kids? Did you remember that now?

My son got speech delay. At first, I got so worry about it. when he was 2, he couldn't speak in a sentence. He started to talk when he was 3. Now he is almost 4, he is so funny when he's talking...I'm so glad that he grows normally...

The growing "schedule" of chiidren are different, some one earlier, some one later. Keeping close attention on them is OK. Have a nice day.

My daughter also started speaking around 2years. She started with single word water. then he changed to give me water. She used at first the words come, see, wait etc. Now she added some more words with this and started talking like this. "Ma I want mum mum(food)", come here, see there, cockoroach coming.....I am waiting for her to talk fluently.

Yeah lumanman, I like to have fun with adorable toddler especially when listening to their blurred as well as indistinct speaking It's lots of joy too if we understand their words and to fulfil them with what they wish. I feel happy as well seeing them feeling content with cute and smiling face. I remember the lovely and ridiculous speaking of the toddlers of my neighbors as well as my siblings Here is the first imcomplete sentence from my toddler son. It is just like yours, Yeah, we the parents would never fail to understand what our young kid tries to express in the combination of words without any verb I knew my toddler wanted to watch his favorite tv program from his first "sentence", pye pye man v. Oh gosh he ask me to swicht on the tv as he wanted to watch the cartoon program, Popeye The Sailor Man" lol.... Happy posting!

lumanman hi Oh that is so wonderful his first sentence thats a real milestone for you. Yes although my son is now fifty I still remember his first sentence dada the plerts which mean daddy give me the screwdriver, he was about 11 months old and had already taken the screwdriver and calmly and precisely unscrewed all the screws holding the sides of his playpen together. there he was giggling and waving the screwdriver. I heard my husband burst out in a cuss word then start laughing . that little boy who could just walk had by himself taken apart his playpen so he could get up and walk. I think he had heard someone talk about pliers and got that mixed up with the screwdriver.I should have known he would grow up to fix things. Now he is a computer programmer but sadly out of work right now. I could sure use his expertise right now as I have a problem with my computer, its taken about forty minutes to get around a kernel trap problem and get booted on here. now thats it going I am almost afraid to turn it off. I remember having to up the screwdriver up where he could not reach it. lol

Hi, Hatley, thanks for you sharing me with your kid's experience. As parents, I think most of them will keep the key growing steps of their kid's. It is very funny thing to record, and it is also a part of the happy life, isn't it? However, I am surprised that how dare can allow your son to unscrew the screws when he is very young. It is very dangerous in case he swallow them. hahaha.... Hope your son get new job soon! Have a nice day.
