Well its not right if anyone gets beaten up trying to better themselves. But here in newcastle upon tyne where I live there are people from other countries who don't even make an effort to learn english and don't try and fit into the local communities. I find it very dis-respectful and rude in my opinion when people talk in different languages in front of you. There are 2 sides to the coin yes it is wrong for someone to be beaten up no matter what the reason is. But If I went to a new country or state I would learn the language and try and fit into the place I was living and reliese the fact that I am the outsider. I hope you understand what I mean.

I dont know in which state you live but these things happen all over india.People form N-E states are mistreated in north and north side people are not liked in south and western states.I dont think so these issues has something to do with language and region. Its reality that there is huge immigration going on from some of the states and its creating pressure in other regions. Daily i see people coming here and sleeping and living on roads, taking bath and even pee poo on broad day light on street. I know beating isnt a answer but not all people are saint and tolerant. Some people are going to react in extreme manner.
