Recently me and my friends had a road trip from Delhi to Manali. Its a gang of four bikes and 8 persons. We started early in the morning and reached about 9 in the evening.Riding on a bike in the mountains was a mind blowing experience.Too close to nature feeling the height of mountains and depth of rivers. We done camping ,river rafting and enjoyed a lot there. That was a one of memorable experience of my life.I am looking forward to go again next year. What about you friends have you ever been to road trip or a bike trip ?

Havnt been on a road trip exactly. However, I try to travel during the day instead of nights. This is a wonderful way of soaking up some culture. It is a dream of mine to go on a real road trip. I would like to rent an RV(recreational vehicle) and just trot from one Indain village to another. We may not realise it,but urbanites in India trot from one city to another, completely bypassing rural India. I think this is a very limited way of living. Good you reminded me of road trips, will give them a serious thought now.

I just recently had a road trip with my family, we decided to visit Bicol, which is the home province of my Mom, we were with our relatives, 3 cars all in all, and our total travel time going to Bicol was around 14 to 15 hours. It was really a great experience, bonding with the family, and seeing the nature up close. I just wish that we had a more comfortable van cause the leg space was really small, and it really hurts the knees when you sit that long. Hehe.

Sitting hurts off course and specially in bikes. In the entire trip we take 5 to 10 minutes rest after every 2 hours continuous run ,just to stand straight and relieve our back.

me and my friends recently went on one. it was an 8-hour drive. we left at about 5 in the morning, and got to candelaria, zambales (philippines) at around 1pm. after a quick rest we took a 5-minute boat ride to a small island called potipot and stayed there until the sun went down. that island was so small that you can roam all of it in under an hour! it was a nice experience and it was fun sharing it with my friends.

Oh yes! I actually love road trips. That is one of my hobbies. If you look at most of the sites where they ask for hobbies, road trips is definitely listed on my profile. I was in the US, so I have done road-trips from - San Jose to Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, and back. Gosh that was just brilliant. Then when we shifted to Atlanta, I did one from Atlanta to Orlando,Florida. In India, from Mumbai to Pune, Chennai to Banglore. I think that is about it. Road trips are just so amazing. It is all about taking in the views, spending time on your travels and enjoying all the sights and beauty around! It's the journey that matters :) Hope u have many more wonderful road trips!

riding a train with friends - road trip or round trip? sounds like fun!
wow! such a wonderful experience! i have never been to a road trip! i remembered i once learned how to bike when we were young but now, i'm just afraid of riding a bike again.i never know if i'll be able to drive a bike again.but riding a bike really is such a great experience while having a road trip! i don't know if my story will be counted as a road trip but i have done something with my friends in a train.we were just having fun then, and we have this round trip, feels like a road trip i guess! where we just enjoyed our stay inside the train,we've done that because of passing time, boredom! we enjoyed riding a train back then!bonding times in turn!

no i have not been to a road trip... i know how to bike but i never tried to do road trip by bike.... i have been in place where people usually use bike as their mode of transportation, but i have tried it not that very long distance, maybe only about 30minutes to 1 hour, however it could not be considered as road trip with that short distance... :-)

Yes it counts ,if you have done that only for enjoyment not for some other work.
