Do you use your telephone or your cell phone more why or why not

I use to use my cell phone more then my landline but I changed my plan and went back to the landline. I am convinced keeping those cell phone devices next to your ear for long periods of time is bad for your health.

I've also heard that bringing you cellphone close to your ears for too long is really bad for one's body. But ever since, I never use my cellphone to call my friends just to have chitchats or have been used for long hours of talking. I prefer using the landline for that matter but for emergency purposes, I used my cellphone. :)

I don't even like the cordless phones.. there are reasons they can transmit so that is going into your body that also transmit through the air.

Luckily, we don't have any cordless phones here at home. :) Those are the phones that are supposed to be charged right? :) Supposed to be, we planned to buy one but I guess, we won't anymore. Besides, it can also consume electricity and here at home, we try to lessen the usage of it or else our monthly electric bill will go up. hahaha. :) Thanks for the information. :)

The most phone i use is the office phone. I even use it to call non related office call. Since it is free to use them. I rarely use phone from home, but if i need to called from home, i usually use my cell phones. I only use landline if i called another landline. I do this because my parent is the one who paid the landline phone bill, and i don't want to burden them with the bill. So i rarely use them.

Some people opt to use cell phones as they believe they give the better deal I still think there are some very bad side effects from using them too much.

I've heard somewhere before and I wished I could remember where I heard it that cellphones can cause tumors in your brain. When I'm home I only use my landline but if I go somewhere driving or walking I will take my cellphone with me and only use it in emergency situations. have a good night

You have a good night too.. When I first had heard about cell phones being possibly dangerous I brushed it off.. Now after my experience, I am convinced that too much cell phone contact can be dangerous.

We have a home phone plan, but I don't have a telephone. I live with my cell... When my deal is over in another year, I am cancelling my home phone service. The only reason I have home service is b/c it came with my cable deal. lol

I use to live with my cell phone close by; but now I don't care to. It's convenience but I think there may be health issues caused by too much use of the cell phone.

Yes Franciscan , you are right . Using cell phones too much harms us . I read this in an article. But since I remain outside most of the time . I use cell phone more so that people can contact me . The cell phone is mobile and we can use it anywhere during urgencies and thats the reason why i carry cell phone . Using Landline is good habit for housewives and I guess you are one of the housewives I am talkin about . But cell phone does not harm everytime . Using Cell phones while it is charging harms a lot . And also keeping the cell phone while it is connecting to get a ring also harms . We should just follow these kind of simple steps . It will not harm us if we follow these steps . Anyways, happy mylotting and have a nice day !

You know.. i used my cell phone only for about 8 months straigh and I think every filling in my teeth have fallen out one by one during that time. Needless to say I have to go to a dentist soon. I don't know if this is what caused it; or if it is conincidence that my feeling fell out.. perhaps I should bring a case against cell phone providers..

I agree about the health dangers that cellphones brings. For me however, there is no other choice but to use it since I only have a cellphone and no landline connection. When we transferred in this place, there were still a few houses so the telephone company didn't get us connected. They said they need some more subscribers in our place before they set up some connections. So I just used a cellphone to communicate with friends and family. Luckily the cellphone company is also an internet provider so I got an internet connection at a reasonable price. Now that there are already many people in our place, lots of agents coming from different landline phone providers visit us but we already decided to stick to the cellphone.

I use my landline more now, as I am working from home at the moment. I got a minor back injury and need to take rest. Since I can work from home using my laptop, I use the landline. But otherwise, I have no option but to use the cell phone. Although, I never use the cellphone too much. More often than not, I use cell phone for texting and not talking :) Happy myLotting

I use the cellphone more than the landline. But I use text messaging than actually calling. I have a slight phobia with calling, you see. I can talk to someone on the phone if there's a real need, but I don't really enjoy using the phone like other people do. Alright, I'm weird, I know!
