I taught history when I was still in a private school. We had discussed different events that happened in the past. We also tackled various leaders who made an impact on one's country. I realized that somehow history repeats itself, especially when it deals with leaders and the society they governed. One good example is the People Power I during Marcos regime. It happened again during Estrada's administration. The World War I which also happened again and a lot more unforgettable events that made our history.
What about you? What is your opinion about this?

I certainly believe History repeats itself. And it would be foolish on our part if we don't listen to history well; and the same could be said about our children if they don't listen to their forefathers and their forefathers and so on.

Yes I think history really repeats itself. It does not happen only in politics or government but it also happen to our personal lives. That's like when you are in a job and this happens then when you move to another it happens again. I think the way we respond to situations and the way the people around us behaves has something to do with the thing called "history repeats itself."

I do believe that history repeats itself. I think It's because there had been so many things that had happened in the past that It's bound to happen one more time.

The past will return after a while. Thus history will repeat itself again and again. Certain events are bound to happen after a while. In fact, it is almost disturbing how the perils can occur. How many events in history seem to be eerily similar. It is almost creepy in many ways. It is almost like history is replayed on a loop with the same events happening over and over again, with similar events.
The problem is, many people just ignore the mistakes in history. They are dark periods that get swept underneath the rug. However, those who ignore history and more importantly fail to learn from it, are doomed to repeat it. Over and over again, this has happened throughout the annals of history. Of course, the important people are always the ones that fail to learn from history. Therefore, it is their actions that are the one's that doom a lot of us.

History repeats. But the nature and character is different. If we do a close examine, check from 100 years back to current position and do a slight comparison. Culture and civilization is different. But the people behaviour never changed. Now it is a polished way of dealing where as in the past it was so straight. We call different names the flow is same and it cannot divert. Because the overall nature of human being is still unchanged so that we can say the history is repeated and will continue repeating.

Thank-s

hello annierose i dont think so that history repeats in itself if so then the person must be great or he must be brave enough to repeat history it can repeat because i heard that records are meant to be broken and history has to be repeated in that sense so history repeats in itself happy mylotting
