do you pray when you are in trouble???

The real condition for prayer, whatever be the religious belief, SHOULD be to give the confidence and strength to face the troubles, and problems. so, in my case, i always pray. And, pray a lot more, whenever i am in trouble.

I do. Not only then, but I do pray harder when I'm in need. Like everyone else, it's sometimes yes, sometimes no in answer. You can't always get what you want, in life or from God. However, having these sort of conversations with the Lord makes me feel better.

Well, it is natural phenomena whenever one is in trouble they always remember the most powerful person, and that is either our parents or God. One never forget them and pray when in trouble. Sometimes praying reduces pains also and gives us strength. A prayer is a aid against perils be our light in the darkness. I think prayer is not merely an occasional impulse to which we respond when we are in trouble, prayer is a life attitude.

Frankly speaking i'm not pray only in trouble..everyday i pray to the god..when i'm in trouble or not..yeah! When i'm in problem basically i remember my god...

I always do that. But I am jus praying if I am in trouble though. =| This topic reminded me of Lisa Simpson's dialogue when Bart is praying jus to skip school in the morning. "Praying is the last hope of a scoundrel" or something like that.=)

Prayers are not necessarily a mode to "escape" trouble. But I strongly believe that pray always, no matter how you are, or where you are. You see, that our heavenly father does things for a divine purpose. Sometimes we need prayer to face tribulations, sometimes we pray for deflecting the consequences of sin. Which do you think would be considered valid or reasonable to pray for?? Prayer serves it's purpose in every area of life. But we need a strong urge to pray for something that isn't purely to meet ones own selfish means. It is definitely an act that is purely 'instinct', especially when we are in dire danger.

I pray with or weather not in trouble. I try to pray everyday I can. Pray for me is like saving for kindness. If I have lot saving, I can use it more...if sometime I need it...

hi 920212! I am a very religious individual and i truly believe that God was there all the time listening to me. I start my day and end it up in prayers this i believe will serve as my way of communicating with Him. My prayers for everyday compose of three parts, thanksgiving, asking for forgiveness and wishing for something. Just like what ive said, i am praying everyday but it multiplies when im in trouble because i always seek guidance and comfort in Him whenever im down and problematic.

Of course! I always pray for a better life but I think I should work harder. Like Lenka's song, 'trouble is your friend'. Trouble will always be there waiting for you, if you're done finding solutions but it didn't work out, you might want to pray. =)
