Where would you go for donations?

I've signed up to participate in a 10K walk for Cystic Fibrosis. The walk is coming up in just a few weeks, but I'm barely half way to meeting my donation goal. I'm promoting it on Facebook, I have a link here on my Mylot profile, and my husband has talked to his co-workers, I'm just not really sure where else to look for donation support.
Have you ever had to come up with donations for a cause? Where would you look for donations?

The last time I collected donations for something I was probably 9 years old. I only got donations from family. I didn't get too much. I am not sure where else to suggest unless you try some people at the Y where you work out or going door to door in your area.
I sent you a donation awhile ago. It was not much, but I donated what I could. Good luck getting the rest of the donations.
