Im having a hard time choosng what programming language to use delphi or vb.net?

please help me what is the best application development and easy to use programming language. because i don't want to invest my time on a programming language that is not popular with users. i want your opinion on this if you have encountered one of this programming language please let me know what is your experience on this are you in demand to employers or what... pls i need answer..

You have to know first what you want to do before you can choose a better programming language to use. Anyway, I am using c#. LOL

(bow) is C# difficult like C++? im having a difficulty studying the syntax of C++ thanks for sharing your programming language to me =)

For me it's a no. Practice makes perfect. Anyway, if you know the flow of the program or the logic, syntax won't be a much problem. What I like about c# is its intellisense which makes it easier to do the coding although the syntaxes in c# are longer than c++. Another, in c# you have to convert and parse more often than in c++.

haha C# is child's-play compared to C++. You have the garbage collector so you dont have to manage memory and like (most high level languages) there is syntax candy so you dont have to deal with pointers. Plus if you go the .net route you'll have libraries up to your ears. Think of it this way C++ is C# with objects and C# is java BUT BETTER.

go with delphi......it is more recent and accepted by many standards than vb.net
