Primary reason for neutering our pets is to control the pet population. It will also prevent a male dog from wandering away from home in search of female dogs in heat. Neutering a male will also prevent him from making inside of your home. If it is a house pet then this is a very important thing.

There are a few reasons to neuter our pets. One is to keep low percentage of births. The other it helps to keep our pets healthy. Also once they are neuter at least I know for a dog they tend to pee alot less. I got my shih tzu neuter at about 6 years of age which was kind of late but I was thinking of getting him to have a few pups but it never happened.

It's to prevent the animal from going into heat,I think if they animal isn't going to be bred it's best to nueter them.
