Backstreetboys was the first boyband in the early 90's that really made it big in the music industry, however after a few years, N'sync also made it big in the history of boyband genre. The latter was also commended by MJ as his favorite boyband group.

BSB for the win! Haha, I used to hate N'Sync for that. I always thought that they were just copying BSB. As a kid who grew up in the boy band era (1991), I have witnessed most of the boy bands who debuted. I love the Backstreet Boys because they were hotter, they danced better, sang better, and had beautiful songs (not saying that N'Sync songs are not). I was a fan of Nick Carter because my sister was addicted to him. LOL.

Hi MJ Cookie, Nice to hear one from you. May I just ask, where is Nick now. I haven't seen have for quite sometime after their show of his brother Aaron in MTV if I am not mistaken. Are there plans for him to release an album? Please keep me posted.

BSB is not active now. But they recently had their concert here in the Philippines, minus Kevin. I wasn't a fan of N'Sync but I love JT! He's so talented! I am glad he went from almost imitating Nick's voice (Bye Bye Bye and Pop, LOL) to his own sexy style.

I prefer N'sync as their songs are more matured than BSB. I don't really like members of BSB they only depend on their looks to be famous but none of them can actually write songs, compared to N'sync at least JT is one of the best songwriters and dancers in R&B and pop industry. And he looks way matured than Nick BSB.

I simply agree with you. JT is really a talented artist. He doesn't just dance and sing. he can also write songs for his albums. That's what makes him different from the rest of the members of BSB. To sum it up, N'sync has been the winner so far..

when the whole boyband thing was the biggest thing in pop music, i liked nsync better. i thought justin timberlake was cuter that nick carter. haha. but now, i actually do have more backstreet boys songs in my ipod. and sometimes in the office during break times and the "hangin out at the lockers" moments, we would play backstreet boys and everyone would be singing along. :)

JT is still active in the industry today with solo albums unlike Nick Carter who' not been seen on TV for a couple of years now. N'sync's leader has also collaborated with Beyonce and so many other artists that made him stay in the business.

I really love the band named BACKSTREET BOYS. We have used several music of backstreet boys in our wedding photo and video coverage editing background.. not also in wedding we used them in birthdays too and other special event sometimes we are including the video along with the song. and the editing looks so attractive and presentable when viewing.

i really like nsync than backstreet boys.though both groups have different styles of music,i really found them both great! BSB songs were nice,i can sing along with their songs and it doesn't irritate me. but i really loved more of nsync.more danceable songs and justin's moth popping is really great!plus they dance really well too!

Definitely N Sync by a landslide due to the presence of Justin Timberlake. He simply carried the boyband even if he has a solo career already. At least the other members had other careers like Joey Fatone who hosted the Singing Bee.

I was a fan of both, my walls were plastered in BSB posters, I liked both of their music styles, but was more into BSB, I felt I could "relate" more to their music at the time, LOL. I also like BSB semi new stuff from a few years back, I can't remember the name of song though. I say Backstreet Boys are the better boy band.
