Everybody knows that exercise and eating healthy are very important bfor lossing weight. But for me it is a bit harder, why? Because I had an surgery many years ago and the doctor had put some screws in my spinal cord to fix up some of my problem. So I couldn't do too much exercise such as weight lifting and even jogging. If so,it is goiing to be hard for me to reduce the fat in my belly .Well,if you have any good idea, share with me and I hope that your opinion is workable and no need to take any medication or buy any weight loss products.I prefer something more natural. Thanks

You try to buy hip hop abs DVD collection. It makes you sweat, and your baby fat will burn then it makes an abs too. Every night I usually drink tea before I sleep, it helps me to eliminate fat content by urinating and keeps my metabolism working well.

Try and ask your doctor if your allowed to do some yoga. This is one type of exercise that doesn't require you to life a lot of weights. Another thing is to try and stay away from fatty and sweet foods. Also drink a lot of water, this will increase your metabolism and will also lessen your craving for food.

just sway your body especially your waist to keep it moving as if you are listening to a music. minimize the scope of your food. lessen your rice or carbohydrates. do not eat if you are not hungry. eat on time. eat lots of water. drink tea after meal. avoid cold drinks. drink plain water, water, water. the bottomline is self-discipline.

HI, Walking is said to be beste exercise,Taking care of spinal cord problem intially small and slow walking step might help out. Yoga(Asana and Pranayam) will do wonders and even help out with spinal problem, Only thing should be taken care of is not to perform asanas that might affect spinal like backward bending and forward bending asanas. Pranayam(Breating exercise)will definately help out especially "Anulom Vilom" and also "Kaplabhati". Food: Green tea is said to be good for overall health, coconut water, lemon water. Have Plenty of green leafy vegatables, Fruits,.Soups are also good,Spinach soup are best one. Basically food that contain too much of fats, sweets salts, should be avoided. Body needs fats but not too much.like 2- 3 tsp per day. Can have little warm water instead or cool one throught the day, As they help in releving gaseous subtance in stomach also help digestion of food. Drink 3- 4 litres of water throught the day. SO can start the day with 2 glass of warm water or medium one as per convience Generally not to have water along with food so if you want drink water you can have half an hr before meal and 1 hr after food. Have food at fix regual interval like 7.30,10.30,1.30.so on Can fix tim as per indiviual conviences. Can have food 6-8 times small ones Like: breakfast Mid morning; Lunch Mid afternoon Evening Dinner. Between meal can much on peanuts, fruits,or juice.

I do water aerobics at the YMCA and there are some things in the weight room they showed me I could do as well that is not to hard on me. I have Fibromyalgia, arthtritis of hips and knees and my feet hurt due to injured tendons so I have to pace myself. But the best all around exercise is water aerobics you have the water to help buoy you up and you only do what you physically feel your able to do. I go three days a week and it does help.

In your case, for your benefit I would say to try out what cardio exercises you're able to do -- maybe try the treadmill at a certain pace or maybe if you can use the bike machine or elliptical. See what works, drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fruits, veggies, white meat --- I would not recommend red meat, but white meat is good for source of protein. Also fish like Tilapia, tuna or salmon -- steamed and not fried. For more information of doing natural diets or losing weight look up Steve Turano's BodyPerformanceTV. This is the method I follow. He answers pretty much all questions that involve dieting, calorie intakes, calorie deficits, losing weight, weight training and much more. Just go to Youtube and type in his name and you'll find his link source of BodyPerformanceTV --- There you will find tons of Q&A videos that will answer most of your questions. Good luck.....

You would need to work on both diet and exercise to see real results. I would say eat healthier and walk more and things like taking the stairs when possible will make a difference. Perhaps you could get a pedometer and walk 10,000 steps everyday?

I'm not exactly sure how to get the stomach flatten if you can't exercise. I think if you eat less by using a smaller plate and don't eat after 8pm then will you see weight loss. You also of course have to eat healthy foods. Do away with greasy food, salt and anything that is white. Do away with sugar, flour, white bread. I hope this helps you. Good luck and think positive.

Just try to practice yoga every day.Yoga is simple to do, It helps to reduce your spine problems and you can lose your fat. Yoga makes you feel pleasant.Practice some belly excerises which dont exert any pressure on spinal cord.Instead of taking food at nights eat only fruits. Change your diet menu so that it contains only organic food.

I think its going to be much better if you reffer to you doctor about your condition. I mean its better be safe than sorry in the end. Like if i try to give you some tips right now it might not be what is good for you .Ask your doctor of some possible exercise that you will be able to try at home or most of the time

I am really sorry to read that there are person , who would gladly want to do exercises and not resort to other types of pills ( who dont even work ) , or become bulimic , but theire not able to because they have a certain handicap , my mother had before also a problem with the weight , but two years ago she found a herbal natural tea that allows her to loose weight , i can tell you that this tea makes he's go to the bathroom , pretty often , so she doesn't drinks it during the day , only in the night , before she goes to sleep , and with this tea she cann still eat normally , off course you dont have to eat too heavy foods , but she did lost a considerable mass of weight , ever since. Now there is the second option , wich is much more expensive and a little bit painfull , operation of liposuction , but i dont really think that this i what you want , hence i heard that sometimes complications come along the way. Have a nice day , dear friend

hi wildlittlefan, It is very important to remember there are no magic pills that can melt your fat, overnight. Neither is sudden weight loss caused by excessive dieting, healthy. Healthy weight loss requires dedicated and sustained efforts over a considerable span of time. Here are five factors that are very crucial for successfully losing and controlling weight over a long period of time. Diet: Go for a 45-35-20 diet plan - i.e. your diet should include 45% complete protein (from sources like eggs, chicken, fish, Soya beans, milk products, etc), 35% complex carbohydrates (from sources like whole wheat bread, brown rice, etc) and only 20% healthy fat (unsaturated fat obtained from sources like fish, olive oil, flaxseeds, etc).Include plenty of dietary fibre, from sources like oatmeal, green salad, fruits and green leafy vegetables. Go for 6 smaller meals in a day instead of 3 heavy meals. Also it is very important that breakfast should be your heaviest meal of the day and dinner the lightest one. Drink a glass of hot water before your meal - this induces a 'thermogenic' effect in our body, as a result of which, greater percentage of the food is converted into energy. Including spices like green chilly in our diet also has similar effect. Avoid products containing sugar, simple carbohydrates like white rice, white bread and also sources of 'unhealthy fats' or saturated fats like red meat, butter, coconut oil, etc. Exercise: It is very important to include weight training along with aerobics in your exercise program.Weight training is anaerobic and therefore burns carbohydrates (sugar). Cardiovascular exercises such as jogging, cycling, or stair climbing are aerobic and therefore burn fat. By weight training, there is an increase in lean body mass, as a result of which Resting Metabolism Rate or RMR increases, hence the body burns calories even during period of rest. Low calorie dieting and aerobic training without weight lifting can make you lose muscle - in fact, it can actually make you fatter. So you need to adopt a two-pronged approach when it comes to exercise, i.e. to include both aerobics and weight training also known as resistance training. Yogasanas:Yogasanas like Paschimotannasana, Bhujangasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Dhanurasana, Veerasana, Trikonasana, ArdhaMatsyendrasana etc are very much beneficial in weight loss. Along with these yogasanas, Suryanamaskaar or Sun Salutation-a type of Yogasana and Pranayama(Yogic breathing technique) like Kapaalbhatti Pranayama are also very useful. Endocrine glands control various activities of body. Any problem in the functioning of endocrine glands can result in various physical problems, which includes obesity. The greatest advantage of Yoga is that it strengthens our endocrine system, hence it an important tool in combating obesity and hence weight control. Multi-Vitamin, Multi-Mineral and Ayurvedic supplements:The body's weight-control or weight-related functions - like appetite, hunger, metabolic rate, metabolism of fats and sugars, calorie-burning, and so on - operate more efficiently with an optimum intake of vitamins and minerals. All of them play a part in maintaining optimum health and weight. The most important vitamins and minerals for weight loss are: Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Choline (part of B-complex), Inositol (part of B-complex), Chromium and Zinc. Ayurvedic supplements like Navaak Guggul, Medohar Guggul, Gokhshuradi Guggul, Punarnavadi Guggul, Chnadraprabha Vati, Arogyavradhini, etc are also very effective when used with proper diet and Yoga. Sleep: If you want to lose weight, experts say you need to get enough sleep. Sleeping less may affect (lower) a person's basal metabolic rate i.e. BMR or RMR (the number of calories you burn when you rest)-another important contributor to weight control. Insufficient sleep can cause the release of additional cortisol - the stress hormone - and can stimulate hunger. Also sufficient sleep is very essential for development of the lean muscles - which boost the BMR/RMR.

I used to be fat back in grade school but when I reached high school, I tried doing a "crash diet" for one school year and boom, I lost a lot of pounds. The problem is that I gained lots of stretch marks, a bit saggy arms, etc. Then I read from an article that the experts don't recommend doing that kind of diet. That was about 2 or 3 years ago but right now, I see to it that I exercise 3 to 5 times a week. My fat belly is slowly disappearing though there's still some of it. I also started affirming myself that I have a flat stomach with 6 packed abs and I think it's working so far :) Maybe you should try asking for an expert first or you can check the internet for some helpful articles regarding this matter. :)

Count the calories as you eat. It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.
