When was your last family reunion?

It is summer and kids are free from school. Some of my relatives met to plan our family reunion and they agreed to have it next week. We are very excited for the event coz we can finally meet relatives that we haven't seen before. When we went to the ticketing office all boats which goes to the reunion venue are fully-booked. Luckily we got one for wednesday. We are all set to go. We can't wait to leave and attend our family reunion.
Do you also have family reunions? When was the last time that you attended one?

I've actually never been to one on my Mom's side of the family and only one on my Dad's side of the family...and that one was actually for my stepmother's family. It was a lot of fun though and it's one of my happier childhood memories...it was also the day my oldest brother broke his arm so it's doubly memorable. I wish we would have had more but I don't live close to my Dad's home and my Mom's side don't get along well enough to get everyone together.

that's pretty good for you... i get envious with those who really enjoy going to a family reunion.. i am not really fond of doing so.. haha.

I actually find it too tiring to talk to all of our relatives and to answer all the questions our elder relatives asks... they seem really endless.. hahaha... the last time we went was maybe when i was still in grade school haha

We don't have set family reunions, we are trying to have one this year. We have a big family so it is sometimes hard. Last year we had a big party for my Aunt's 75th
birthday which reallb was a reunion. It was so nice because about 100 people came.

Iagree that it is sometimes hard to gather a big family. Wow your aunt's birthday was fun. I can imagine all those 100 people filling up the event venue. Fun fun fun ... Happy mylotting:)

Mine is a big family, and have around 200 relatives living around me. We gathered together just last Sunday to celebrate the naming ceremony of my cousin brother. The baby girl was christened Bianca Pearl.

I like having reunions but our family is really huge that it would be very difficult to organize an event like that. I had reunions with my relatives in the my mother's side cause there are only few of us and we are also close to each other but that was already years back which I really miss having. My relatives in my father's side is huge and there are so many relatives that we dont know. We are not close to them too cause their kind of social status is not likes ours and we find it difficult to mingle. We had a reunion before but I was still young at that time so I dont remember it anymore.

The last family reunion that I attended to was 6 years ago, and I have always been far away every time my family make one after that. But we will have another one on the 31st of this month and a lot of family members including those one I don't know and have not met before are coming. I'm really excited and looking forward for the big party and meeting everyone on that day. Take care
