Should Noynoy apologize to Delgado's wife?

So another circus show comes to town. Delgado called a press conference to announce that a copy of a psychiatric report was left in his desk. He called Fr. Kreutz and asked him to verify the report, but before Fr. Kreutz could give him an answer, he released the same to the press. Says he does not know who left it, but he wants media to verify it. So they did, and the media reports that the alleged signatory denied that it was his signature on the report. Delgado says it is not enough. Noynoy or Noynoy's camp says that the email came from Delgado's wife. Delgado denies it, and says that his wife forwarded it so that someone will verify it, and demands for an apology from Noynoy (well, we know who is not returning to Napocor if Noynoy wins LOL). My question is, should Noynoy apologize to the wife? Was Noynoy merely returning the mud thrown at him, or was it un-gentleman of him to throw it at the wife instead of the husband?

Delgado was a former NPC chairman who introduced himself as Villar's supporter. A few days ago, he called a news conference to announce that he had in his possession another psychological report from Ateneo signed by Fr. Bulatao. Says this was anonymously given to him and he was releasing it to the media so that they can verify. Before doing that though, he called another Jesuit priest to ask if it was genuine. Before that priest, Fr. Kreutz, could give him an answer, he called a press conference and released the report. A few hours after, Fr. Bulatao denied the signature on the report. Noynoy told the press that the initial email came from Delgado's wife, implying that this was again another black propaganda, and it was really just made up. Delgado of course denied the allegations. He wants Noynoy to apologize for besmirching his wife and family's reputation.
