I was at the library today and they had the question at the front desk, What do you want to be when you grow up? President, Athlete etc. And it got me to thinking that I would not want to be President since I wouldn't want to be under constant pressure and followed by the media. How about you, would you want to be the President or ruler of your country and why?

I want to be mayor of my city if I can .I should make this city more beautiful and more comfortable for living. In addition, being a president means more responsibility, more pressure. I think I can't deal with all the problem well.

This is a very touchy subject with me. I believe our Government has become corrupted in the sense that our world leaders should not be making thousands of dollars to run this country. Quite honestly if you want your country ran fairly then the people running should only make as much as the middle class. Then they know what would need to be done and how to fix it. Right now all they care about is filling their pockets and passing bills that help this happen. Take away their money and actually make them work to run the country and stuff will get done. So in answer to your question of being president of this country my answer would be NO, this country is too far corrupted for any president to fix. The only thing left to fix the country now is another revolution, which the government has made sure in all ways that the people could not be able to do that in this time. So we wait and see what happens.

Hello tallygirl09. I think that if given a chance to be a president I will take that opportunity and run the country as I wish. I would definitely and firmly adhere to the law and firmly implement laws that will surely make peace and order in my country. I really hate to say this, but I will do extreme measures just to stop the insanity of the leaders of the country. Change is all we need and we need change now!!!

I don't think I would ever consider being president of my country. Too much responsibility that would control too many lives is involved. I don't know that i would want to shelter that much burden for people i would never know.

I would not ever want to be president....have you seen how old they look? all the stress that comes about in the four years? I am surprised any of them even survive!! I have a lot of my own ideas and if i was president for a day, things would definitely change, but I still don't think I would ever put myself through that ordeal. What that means is that if i wouldn't do it, i can't really complain about how somebody else is doing.

It is not that easy to be the president of a nation.i think I do not have those qualities of a leader. Not only the constant pressure and media the nation depends on president's decisions. Also we need to know the politics very well.all this are needed for a good president,I don't think i can be one.

My childhood ambition was becoming an artist, an astronaut or a scientist. However, I failed to achieve any of these ambitions. During my secondary school, I wanted to be an engineer. And, I become one today. However, the real job requirement and scope is very much different from what I expected during my teenage time. But if you ask wether I want to be the president or ruler of my country, then the answer is yes. I would like to change the political situation and people's welfare in our country very much. The current ruling party is not treating the people's right. Their sole intention is corrupt the country's wealth. Besides, these tyrants are putting people's benefit in the last place. In order to get the people's supporting votes, they trick the naive people by inducing race hatred. So, if I am able to be the president, I will make things right.

I live a private life.. i love my freedom as an individual with only myself and my family's wellbeing to think about. I love being me - serving myself and my family and being a good citizen only. I need not my name be tarnished with bad reputation, with everything else that i am not because of being a candidate as president, or of course, of being the country's president. There are many other ways and things to do to help your country and it is not only through politics that i would make a difference in my country.

Nope. No matter what you do, someone will hate you. The current political climate is kind of frightening, too. I'm still looking at doing government work, though. Maybe I'll work for the justice department or something. I just don't think I'd be politician material.

I'm not really a president material. Being a president has a lot of responsibilities and i can't handle a lot of 'em. I'd rather be a policeman than a president.

I would absolutely relish the opportunity to be the Prime Minister of Australia. There is a vast amount of policy that I would like to see implemented; as well as policy that I feel is in need of long-overdue change. I would like to see major health reform (particularly in regard to mental illness), for example; and I doubt very much that - unless I enter politics - I will be in a position to make a great deal of difference.
