What is it that makes you personally add people as friends on mylot? Do their discussion topics and replies impress you? Is it that they give a good argument? Do you select people who you agree with? Do you select people who comment on your posts? Do you want to know more about the person. Do you add anyone and everyone? Tell me honestly. What is it that really makes you add another user as a friend?

I see what a persons interests are on here and if they have the same kind of interests as myself then i may add them.I have added you as your interests are the same as mine and that we are both from the UK.I came on here one day and there were 7 people wanting to add me as a friend so i just oked them as i had not alot of time to read about them.I tend not to add a person with 0 discussions as they are the people that send you links to join their groups etc all the time.

I just add up person in my friend list every time I got the time to add them in the list. Most of the time I only answer to discussions and got less time to add new friends. But if I were to choose I would chose friends like how I chose friend in the real world. I would make friends with those who are respectful and not those who are braggart. I really am not that choosy. so any friend will do as long as they don't back bite and do harm at my back. Thanks and have a great time.

First the topic name. If it impresses me or it is one of the topics of my interest I will go in. I will look into the content for discussion. If I have tailored points to discuss I will add my views straightaway. This is my style.

All of the above and looking forward for more of what mentioned above. I just go with the flow. Anyway , I cannot please everybody, at least I appreciate every body here. The friendship is yet to discover and rediscover , it is not enough that it is all through this discussion. I'm hoping to see them in person also. Who knows, that might happen. They maybe planning to have a vacation in our place. I'm willing to be their guide.

It is a good thing you asked this question because I am new here (I see you are new as well) and wondering how to go about selecting friends so it is interesting to read how people choose friends here. A few people have added me since I joined and I have accepted but I am yet to choose any. I guess with time I will devise a strategy on choosing friends. Hehe

I select people who impress me with the way the discuss on various topics.I like people who have a sense of humor.I like people who bring into focus serious issues which need to be discussed.I select people who i agree with in the sense that if they put forward an argument which i like i add them as a friend. We are here to discuss and make more friends in order to understand each other better.

It's the way they express themselves, seeing through their point of view and proving themselves capable of carrying a good and healthy conversation. Of course, you have to be impressed to be able to make you want to add him/her up as a friend. I just add another person because I see goodness in his/her heart that flows naturally with how she delivers her opinion.
